I am deeply sadden! My family and I have longevity, valuable customer(s), loyal and spend an obnoxious amount of money at the Union Deposit location! Going in multiple times into this establishment daily! A month ago my husband left a review regarding his overview on the store as of lately! We have seen at the very least 3 managers come and go! This time around the store in itself is suffering! As a pillar of our neighborhood and numerous customers sharing their concerns with my husband, he then decided to leave a review with pictures to show and proof his concern!
On this fine Sunday morning !! As we are ordering our coffee! The asst. store manager or supervisor “ Makayla” decided to call my husband out on the review!! She was very outspoken on her view regarding his review and continued to mention that his review was NOT good! Totally disrespectful, unprofessional and uncalled for! Is this Starbucks policy?? Reminder:: We were at the counter ordering our drinks and food! t's important for businesses to address customer concerns and strive to improve their service. It's unfortunate that this assistant store manager chose to call out my husband in front of staff and customers instead of addressing the issues raised in his review constructively. A respectful and customer-oriented approach is crucial in maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
I knew something was off for several weeks, they would make us wait a little longer for our coffee, when at the counter they would make us wait quit some time before they acknowledged us, for example. “the new manager will stay looking at his laptop before attending to us” But I did not connect the attitude or lack of customer service until now! I work for a huge medical company! We get complaints on the daily! At no time do we approach the customer! We take the complaints to consideration and do better!!
I believe due to recent changes in management have had a negative impact on the store, and the behavior of the assistant store manager towards my husband was unprofessional.
My husband was the norm in Cheers at this Starbucks! He met with clients, referred ppl and even stopped a customer from stealing the staffs jar of tips from the counter!!. This location was a friendly place to enjoy our coffee and meet new people! It was diverse with People who would might not have never interacted were now saying good morning and have a great day and or developing friendships and networking! We will no longer be a customer at the union deposit location.. Don’t get me wrong, there are still some baristas that are great like MISSY and Rob!
Remember, speaking out and leaving a review is important to create awareness and bring about change. Your voice matters! Most often I find that when I've put a mobile order in, and I'm 10 minutes from the store, when I get there, it's still not made. I've tried on the road, thinking this was just a one-off at my local store. Unfortunately it's more the rule rather than the exception. Today I ordered while doing errands. I put in a mobile order at 11:38 am, showed up at the store at 11:52, and the drink wasn't made, but the two barristas had plenty of time to be chatting with an off duty co-worker who had come in to show off s new haircut. At 11:55, I got the drink, then had to ask about the sandwich, because it was nowhere in the works.
