Spirit Dodge is an awesome family owned Dealership. I have been a Loyal customer for 22years. I purchased My first Ram pickup truck there and have never looked back! I HAVE HAD THE SAME SALESMEN FOR 22YEARS!!! Mike Connelly now that says something! from the day I first walked in dealership until today I am treated as Family, nothing is to much trouble, Fred in Service has been there as long as I have been coming there, service takes care of anything I need, the parts dept. get me the Parts accessories for all my vehicles past and present with no problem they value my business, that's hard to find these days! I have over the years purchased 15 vehicles and loved each one, my children purchased their first vehicles there, and this past weekend each of my kids bought their dream Vehicles!!! my son got his Willies Wrangler Jeep 0llll0, and My Daughter purchased her Renegade Latitude 4X4. they got great deals and we as a family could not be happier, that brings the family total up to 19 vehicles purchased from Spirit over 22 years! My Wife and I just moved to Swedesboro a few months ago and quite honestly we both have been having Wrangler envy every time we saw one of these driving by. We both liked the idea of being able to take the tops off and drive around the beach. We would drive by the Spirit dealership and look on their lot on Sundays, but didn't officially stop in until about two weeks ago. We should have stopped in earlier!!! First person we met is Mac and it was as if I knew him my whole life. I immediately trusted him, he kills any stigma about cars salesmen. Great stories and very knowledgeable. Took all the time with us that we needed and went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get our Rubicon. We met Mike Baus and Mike Pilieri and they treated us like we were part of their family. Couldn't have been any nicer. We had some peculiar circumstances around our trades and they took care of everything and gave us a great deal on our new Rubicon. Couldn't be any happier with our experience at Spirit and we would recommend Spirit to anyone that is in the market for a new vehicle!!!! I see us being repeat customers in the future!!!

Service Appointment to investigate a low frequency grinding sound after my wife hit a curb (prob the wheel bearing). Did not happen as planned. None of the notes I left when making the appointment seemed to be passed to the tech. The techs only comments were a whistle sound from my roof rack he said was installed backwards because the pointed side was supposed to be facing forward (the next day I wasted two more hours of my time removing my roof rack rails only to discover they were installed correctly originally.. thanks for that little bonus… see photo from the roof rack vendor). Had to drive there go on a ride with the tech and have him listen again. Ignore the sound of the roof rack. And then got him to acknowledge the sound coming from the wheel. Was charged the full price of the day ($200)without question by the service desk for the “evaluation” that I had to come there to do. so just to recap, I paid $200 for an evaluation that I had to do, and I wasted hours of my time the next day reinstalling roof rails Were installed correctly the first time.

I cannot stress how terrible the auto service department is. CUSTOMER BEWARE. I drive a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit. I had my car serviced for an oil change, tire rotation, and fuel gasket cleaning. I was told these were necessary repairs after the multipoint inspection was done. I was shown a clear, wet written inspection report where it showed my alignment was in range among other things (remember that). So I agreed to the work and they had my car all day. While waiting there, another disgruntled customer had came in and was complaining about an issue that they caused to her car. I remember thinking hmm. Anyway, I returned, Paid and picked up right before closing that day and conveniently I wasn’t given a copy of the initial multi-point inspection report. IMMEDIATELY after driving it off the lot my steering was jacked up. My car was not driving straight and the steering wheel was crooked. (It drove like a dream prior to this) I called Spirit within 5 minutes of leaving and explained something was wrong with my car, that it wasn’t driving straight. Took it back the next morning and the workers were dismissive and told me I had to have hit a pothole within the 3 minutes of driving off of the lot. I insisted that this issue was cause by their shop…. That they even had a multi-point inspection report that showed my alignment was perfect before any work was done. I met with the OWNER asking for the mistake to be corrected. He agreed to give me an alignment (I wasn’t even sure what actually was messed up at the time I just wanted it fixed. They wouldn’t even look at the car to see exactly what happened/what was wrong…. Sketchy). Waited a week for them to do it as I was not driving the car until the issue was resolved. When I picked it up, they basically shoved the alignment receipt to me TOLD ME THERE WAS NEVER A MULTI POINT INSPECTION DONE BEFORE SHOWING MY ALIGNMENT WAS IN RANGE and told me to leave. They gave me a receipt for the supposed “alignment” they did to correct the issue and it stated that all of the specs were in range. Still wasn’t driving right. I took it to Finnishline Auto afterwards and the technician there told me that every single spec was red except for one in the green. Not only did they screw up my car and it will never drive the same. But THEY ALSO LIED ABOUT DOING AN ALIGNMENT AND GAVE ME FALSE PAPERWORK. And magically the multi-point inspection they had done prior to any work no longer existed…… this is the sketchiest establishment. I wish I could give it place negative 10 stars and have...

I was looking for a left over 2018 Jeep. Unfortunately the only one I can find with all the options was at Spirit. It was over an hour drive, I live in Pa but I had little choice. The sales guy was decent. Hey, he just works there. He showed me the Jeep and I had to be the one to notice it had the wrong window sticker on. First red flag. We worked out a deal and he told me it was the best price they could give me. I bought 26 new cars over my life and believe me it wasn't the best price. They shorted me $3000 under blue book which isn't close to the real trade in value. But I wanted the Jeep. I told him if they throw in a tow hitch (only option missing) I would buy it. He said for $250 they would do it as I waited on the paper work. Again I bought 26 new cars in my lifetime and other dealers offered me free tow hitches to close the deal. I even asked them to switch the tow hitch off of my trade in and they said no. I had 2 other dealers in the past jump at that offer to sell a car. As soon as he started the paper work he was gone. He had another customer. I get it, you need to make money, no big deal. But he forgot to give me my keys back. Long story short, they never put the tow hitch on and I had already waited 1 1/2 hours and I just wanted to get out of there so I said forget it. In my haste and the fact the sales guy was no where around I forgot to get my keys back. Yeah, I'm the idiot. He called me later and offered to drive them to me. I said no I'm not going to make you drive over an hour here just for that, stick them in an envelop and mail them back to me. A week and a half later, still no keys. Then he called me and asked for the head rests for my trade in. Seriously. I asked where my keys were and he said he was going to mail them with my registration plate. At that point I was like, whatever. A week later I called again and was told that my registration plate was there but I had to pay $25 to have it mailed to me. I really felt sorry for this guy because I know he felt bad. I drove all the back to NJ, dropped of the head rests and the wrench kit for my old Jeep because that is the kind of person I am (didn't want to short the next owner) only to find it wasn't a registration plate, they just transferred my old tags. they had my new registration card which I could have printed on line and saved the gas driving over there. Unresponsive dealership that made shoddy repairs using unauthorized, cheap, aftermarket parts and then bending the truth afterwards. Despite trying to work things out with them, the GM, who labeled himself a “problem solver” has been totally unresponsive, despite numerous inquires, after almost 3-months. I now have no choice but to sue because at this point it’s not about the money but rather about my family’s safety and holding dealerships like this accountable. Watch yourself with these guys, they’re gas-lighters!

The owner's response shows he still doesn't understand the facts. The part that was on "nationwide back order" was the cylinder head which I told them, after seeking advice from another dealer, how to acquire it much faster. That part, and those repairs, we covered by Chrysler. The part I'm referring to is the fuel pump, which they said also needed to be replaced and, after doing so, they called and told me what I already knew saying I also had multiple misfires on the right cylinder bank. That's why it was towed there in the first place after I received this diagnosis from an independent shop. I agreed to have the fuel pump replaced after the service advisor told me that was the cause of the problem only to be told afterwards it wasn't. Never was I told there was a backorder on fuel pumps and never did I authorize a cheap aftermarket pump. If the owner clearly understands the facts, this response is a further attempt at gaslighting.

Regarding their offer to "replace" the unauthorized, cheap, aftermarket part, it was presented more like a threat. Knowing I live 100 miles from the dealership (the car broke down on the New Jersey turnpike while on our way to Annapolis), the service manager offered to have the vehicle towed that distance and if there was found to be nothing wrong with it, I'd be responsible for the cost of a 100-mile tow and a diagnostic fee. It was then I reached out to Mike the GM who told me he was a "problem solver" and would get back to me. He never did and failed to return multiple...
