This is the second day in a row the CVS pharmacy has given me misinformation. I called in my prescription no issues there. I receive a text saying they are trying to get approval for a similar prescription since they do not have my particular medicine. Again, I was fine with the communication. I call CVS a couple hours later now the prescription cannot be filled not because they do not have it but because the doctor needs authorization. Now I am annoyed. I could have called the doctor and asked for a swift authorization. Today I called and the recording says I picked up my prescription. So I asked to speak to a rep. The pharmacy rep who does not even let me finish saying hello asks for my name and date of birth. She looks me up and says they are still waiting on the authorization and looks like I picked it up. How are those 2 issues one in the same? I was trying to tell her that this is my first refill and again interrupts me saying I need an authorization. If this location was not so close I would not bother coming. I understand this is a pandemic and you all are very busy. When she got to the front the girl couldn't find her prescription and asked her to go to a line on the side Once there my mom waited for a few minutes before the girl came over and very rudely asked her a few questions ignoring what my mom was saying about how she had gotten a phone call saying it was ready. Then she found the prescription and told my mom to get back in the original line. Behind other people who had now been in line. Instead of just ringing her up. The pharmacists are great, however, one of their pharmacy techs is so rude and unhelpful that I no longer fill my prescriptions there. The following incident is not an uncommon thing with this person. After telling me that my medication was out of stock, she barked at me when I politely asked which other CVS pharmacies in town might have it, "We don't do that" she barked. I asked why not and she barked that I could ask the pharmacist. Then she walked over to the pharmacist and "discussed me". The pharmacist agreed to help immediately.
