The owner, Chris, will avoid giving direct answers to simple questions like pricing on product. He's been heard using language like "what's your budget" in an attempt to take as much of your money as he can instead of what is fair for the product you want. He's also been known to pitch a childish tantrum and yell at customers who even hint at frequenting other area game shops. He's not the kind of person I'd buy from at a flea market, let alone a brick and mortar retailer. He used to have friendly and knowledgeable staff, but he has since run them all off and his store has suffered for it. Instead of regular staff, he uses delivery drivers from his other business, Whee Deliver, and they will lock up the shop to go on a delivery.    Read moreI hate to be negative, but my dad and I have been playing MTG in stores similar to this all around the country my whole life. Unfortunatly these stores have a reputation for shunning "outsiders" or new customers who don't know their way around. I went to game on with my nephew for a day of fun and video games! BUT. The kid behind the bar was amazingly inattentive. It seemed he did everything he could to prevent me from spending my money in the store. He just wanted us to leave, opend an hour after posted store hours, he played on his computer instead of helping my nephew play, and he didn't have any shoes on, just all around terrible experience. In closing, I want to say I hate being negative, I have been to this store on other occasions and always had a good time. I hope the staff takes more time to tend to paying customers...
   Read moreWhen I called Game On a few nights ago, I was in search for some MTG cards. And as I was speaking with the store's owner, he let me know that the store is operating on an appointment basis to assist customers amidst the pandemic. Even though I had no appointment, he very kindly offered to meet me at the store so I may make a purchase. Not only did he go out of his way to meet me at the store without an appointment, but he also gave me advice for welcoming new MTG players into the game since I'd like to get some of the students I work with interested in MTG and even gave me a bunch of MTG welcome booster packs for them. All in all, I was very impressed with the customer service I received that night and will most definitely be making more visits and purchases...
