Meh, tried trading in some guns awhile back and they tried giving me rock bottom prices. It apparently did not matter that I was wanting to trade for another gun, they still only offered "cash value" which was less than half of what I could have sold them for on Armslist.
Offering $100 for the SAME GUN you are selling used in your display case for $300 is wrong, correct???
Anybody with even a little common sense knows to walk away from that deal....
And yes, I understand you have to pay employees and pay rent for the building, etc... BUT, offering less than 40% of my guns value is borderline morally wrong.
I guess I forgot how pawnshops work and I cant hold it against them.
Just do not expect a decent offer for your guns, if you needed cash immediately be prepared to take a bath on it.
Honestly you need to be more flexible when someone approaches you for a trade, try not to low-ball everybody or you might loose business. You need to make the customer feel like they got at least a half-decent deal.

Whether or not your staff remembers me is irrelevant and your implication that I'm not "on the level" is slander. Seeing how your respond to feedback reaffirms my commitment to avoid your business and discourage others from doing business with you.
I got the ring appraised by a certified appraiser, still have the paperwork. The...
Read moreI have used this pawnshop a lot over the years. Never really pawned anything but purchased a lot of things there. They used to take the power bills there. Today I went in there to pay the power bill and stood around while the employees walked right past me for about 20 minutes. I actually had my eye on a camera in the case. I was seriously going to buy the camera as well as paying the power bill. When I told the guy what I was there for he said “well hell we don’t do that anymore!”. And then he just walked off. I just told him “well, like I really wanted to buy that camera in the case, but you know what screw it!” I’m not saying they’re bad people but they damn sure blew me off. I had the money for the camera but I’ll find one on eBay before I spend my money there....
