DOT Playspace — Local services in Sylvania

We had the BEST time today at DOT Playspace. My three year old and 14 month were entertained the whole time, moving room to room. I think their favorite space was the big front room (seen in the video), which is the perfect size for keeping an eye on both at the same time, even when they’re playing in different areas. The sensory room was so peaceful, with many toys to capture their attention and unique aspects, like the water tubes. Finally, the back room that has the food and art was perfection. The Grampy’s Grounds with coffee for the grownups as well as the Grammy’s Grace Room for nursing (with a changing table, chair, sink, AND a crib!) melted my heart. Overall, I’d highly recommend...

Erica made an incredible impact on my son! Her energy and creativity made therapy not just effective but truly enjoyable. She tailored every session to his needs, whether that meant creating a treasure map to help him confidently bike around the block or helping him navigate air travel with a personalized social story. She even accompanied us to visit new schools and helped implement sensory breaks to improve his academic experience. We are so thrilled to have DOT Playspace in town! My 1.5 year old loves it here, and we do, too! It’s truly the perfect place for her! Erica, as both a mom and an OT, designed an extremely intentional space - she really thought of everything to make this accessible and fun for all littles. My daughter loved getting her wiggles out on the equipment the big room, but recharged in the sensory room to keep her play going. 90 minutes absolutely flew by, and she was happy the whole time!
