I brought my 3-year-old to The Sandbox for Kids in Sylvania and it was an absolute hit! The space is new, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and there are plenty of engaging activities to keep little ones busy and happy.

As a parent, I also appreciated the adult-friendly touches — physical tables to sit at, very reasonable snack pricing, and even a coffee bar that’s perfect for a mid-play caffeine boost. My daughter had a blast exploring, and I loved that a team member even gave us a little tour of the rentable private party rooms.

My only small suggestion would be to consider adding outlets near the tables for parents who may want to work on laptops while their kids play — but that’s truly just a bonus idea on top of an already wonderful experience.

We will definitely be...

So happy I was finally able to check this place out with my kiddos ! We even got to bring my nephew and his mama too and ALL of the kids had a blast ! Started out with an hour to see how they did and we definitely added an extra hour, and my kiddos still didn't want to leave. But I love that it's an option to add more time and you're not charged extra for the 2nd hour if you dont purchase it at the beginning. The workers were extremely kind and understanding with the little ones when they would make a mess and having 4 kids of my own it's hard to take them out and keep them where they need to be at all times, so at one point my youngest two made a little mess with the sand in the stand sand table and the ladies were really so kind. Definitely cannot wait to go back and plan on having birthday parties there in...

Our 3 year old and 1 year old had a ton of fun here. There are lots of trucks, sand tools, etc., so despite being busy, every child has something to play with or build. They were also really gracious and offered their private spaces, that were not currently being used, for the younger kids or children with sensory needs.

The way it works is you pay for an hour and it texts you when your hour is complete. You can add an additional hour if you want to play longer. As a heads up, we had to check in because we didn’t get the text and we didn’t want to feel like we were intentionally overstaying.

The place is super clean and staff are constantly wiping and cleaning. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming as well.

We didn’t grab coffee, but their coffee shop looked great with a...

The Sandbox was such a great experience for my 18 month old grandson! The facility, the toys, the sand were very clean, the staff member who was working while we were there was constantly cleaning and helping customers, she was very professional and friendly. In addition to the giant sandbox there is an area with puzzle play, magnet play, small construction set, a play house and several books!! My grandson loved everything!! We even had a few snacks!! I strongly recommend you bring your kids or grandchildren to The Sandbox for a day of expressing their imagination and making new friends!! We will definitely be back!!

This place was okay some of the toys were broken - a bit over priced for snacks and it’s a nut free facility which I wish I knew before packing an uncrustable you pay by the hour $12 for first $6 after … not sure my 5 year old could be entertained longer than an hour . Many parents sat on the edge and put their feet in the sand … if that’s your thing They have a coffee bar and a snack bar $1 for a tiny fruit snack pack was a big pricy to me but most places do it
