The wait and experience was HORRIBLE!!! There were plenty of tables open and lots of people waiting. Not sure why they had tables closed off for a Friday night at 10pm with several high school basketball games in the area. We literally waited for 30 min to be seated and then 45 min for our food . Our order was wrong twice. The waiter was amazing but whoever was in the kitchen was horrible. I hate they sat us close to the kitchen. We watched a cook go back and forth between his phone and cooking. Literally had his phone propped up and was watching videos, swiping on his phone the whole time while prepping food. Very very unsanitary. We had a table of 10. They brought half of the tables food while the other half waited an additional 20 min to get their food. By the time their food came out everyone was done eating. Upset we didn't get to eat as a family! When they finally brought the second half of the tables food there was hair in the chicken/sauce. It was literally a curly piece of hair cooked into the food. Waiter said it could've been from the brush that they use to swipe the sauce on. Now correct me if I'm wrong..... I thought the wings were "tossed in sauce" not placed on with a sauce brush. And most time sauce brushes have straight and firm bristles. My man just got up and walked out the restaurant. Very dissatisfied and upset after waiting so long to be seated, and then long wait for food, to turn around and serve food with hair in it. They did reimburse us, but point is we waited for almost 3 hours for horrible service. Had to end up finding something else to eat...
Read moreHorrible experience this past Tuesday! I have been a patron of Buffalo WW for years and Tuesday is date night for me and my husband... well not this time. We go only to find out that they changed the wing special to BOGO... which in my mind didn’t seem to bad. So we decided to stay, only to learn that I couldn’t have the wings they way “ I wanted them” (cooked extra crispy and all flats) which is how I normally ordered them with the previous Tuesday special (half off wings). So I still said we’ll stay and order. Waitress wasn’t the best but she did what she could I guess. So after about 6 wings I am full! So I proceed to ask for a small box for my leftovers. This is where I had had enough... to be told I couldn’t take my left overs with me?? Are you serious!!? I am paying for them? This is not a Buffett? To be told this is the new company policy, but it’s not printed anywhere on the menu!??? The manager ( I asked for one) then tells me that’s what “Dine in” means? Excuse me??? Dine in means I am eating my food in the restaurant! Take out means I am taking my food to go.... leftovers mean I couldn’t finish what I started to eat so I’m taking the rest with me??? This is not rocket science!! To then be told that those 4 WINGS that I was trying to take home were technically free!!?? Where!?!? I paid for 10 wings! My husband ate ALL 10 of the “free” ones!!! Please explain this!!! I am very disgusted that I wasted food by leaving it there for BWW employees to throw it away!! This new policy is actually penalizing...
Read moreWhichever female manager was working last night (Sept. 17th) at the Central location needs a lesson in stress management. The restaurant was full due to teenagers coming from a football game. Due to this many of your patrons saw their friends come in and were excited to say hi. Apparently this is not allowed at your restaurant. The manager rudely and loudly told my daughter, 'You need to stay at your tables you're confusing my servers'. Even though she was approached so brass, my daughter nicely replied that she wasn't moving seats and just saying hi. The manager then raised her voice louder and repeated herself with clear anger in her tone.
It is your server's job to figure it out when these situations occur. Give them the training needed to be able to navigate situations that aren't ideal - as they will encounter this often. While this may sound cold, it's the truth.
Your manager clearly is unable to lead employees effectively. She does not have conflict or stress management skills. She should have been able to guide her team without expecting the customer to alter their experience.
How is it appropriate for a staff member of your establishment speak to anyone the way she spoke to my daughter? Especially when she is a minor child and your manager is a grown adult.
I'm disgusted by this interaction and hope that you address it appropriately with your staff members. People are allowed to walk around your restaurant, and if they knew they'd be yelled at for saying hi to friends I am certain your business...
