After visiting The Botanical Gardens, my party went in search of Chinese food. What we found was kitchen nightmares!! It was not even 8 pm, and the place was empty. It should have been my first clue, but we were hungry. We sat down and a young girl Im guessing about 13, puts menus on the table and leaves. She brings back ice water for everyone. Her attitude was an apparent dislike of having customers. We ordered from the complete dinner selection. I ordered #4 sweet and sour chicken, wanton soup with an egg roll and chicken wing. The menu did not have any drinks listed. I had to request to see if they offered anything besides water and the eyes rolled back while she recited the requested information. The soup came out as well as the egg roll and wing, all appeared to be good. It was except the waitress (13 year old) reaching across my food to set drinks down. Another member of my party ordered schecwan beef extrea hot with egg drop soup. When the entrees arrived at the table, I was not impressed with what I saw. My friend rice was dry, even the soy sauce on the table could not save it. The onion and bell pepper was raw. The chicken was dry. The extra hot was not hot at all, in fact it was extremely sweet!! The meat was soggy and I'm not certain it was in fact beef. We had to request silverware and extra napkins. They were delivered in a non friendly manner including slapping the napkins down on the table. My guest attempted to eat what was ordered 2-3 bites was all she could choke down. A complete loss of appetite. We informed the waitress, who was at a table across the room with her down down, that we would like the check minus the beef. A bill was provided with the beef. I went to the cash register to complain. The waitress asked if I wanted the manager. Duh!! The manager didn't listen to a single word that was stated about the food and said she would take it off but she would charge for soup and egg roll. I agreed to this. The manager cleared the entree plates, it was the first thing removed from the table. I went to pay the bill with cash, and the waitress said she had to get the manager to accept cash, she can only collect credit card payments. If I could give less than one star I would. If I could say anything nice was it appeared...
Read moreFood is delicious. I would love to give 5 stars, but i wasnt impressed with customer service. I went in with my husband yesterday, my husband asked for sweet n sour sauce but the lady said that they dont give it with those crispy things but she will bring it out with crab rangoons. She could have brought the sauce but she didnt. We were the only ones in the restaurant, she goes at the desk and calls somebody on WhatsApp and continously talks on speaker phone. When we asked for a check she tells us that card machine is not working it was only cash. These days nobody carries cash in their pockets. My husband had to go to the bank and get cash from atm. But she did come again n again to ask if we needed anything. Only customer service needs to be worked on, rest food...
