Valli - You are hands down the sweetest and humble soul around. You became a crucial part of my wedding experience and I will never forget it. You listen, offer your subtle suggestions with your phenomenal knowledge and expertise, but never push one when you might feel the slightest hesitance. The best part especially for this being a first time for me was your confidence in yourself and your work made me feel that much more comfortable that I chose you for my alterations. Side note: I am a hugger and that good bye hug sealed it lol. I went in with a mermaid style gown with multiple layers, and with a very detailed stitch all over. I needed to go about 2-4 inches in, I asked for a tighter stitch around the waist, a tighter bust, I needed to shorten 2 inches so I wasn’t eye to eye with my fiancé and wear a shorter heel, and wanted to add sleeves to what was originally a swag sleeve style. She talked me through the whole process and made sure she could do it as cost efficient as possible. It was destiny because the sleeves she originally designed, which were just for ideas, turned out to be just that of the design of the dress. It was perfect. The final fitting, left me breathless, wowed, and grateful that god led me to her name on a list of over 50 tailors and that I chose her. Valli is absolutely amazing as a person and a business woman, and she will not leave you with a hole in your pocket which is crucial as a mom of 3. You can tell she absolutely loves what she does and her expertise is out of...

I am so happy that I found Valli, I can't recommend her enough! I brought in my wedding dress that I had altered two years ago which I am re-wearing for a post-COVID reception. The last person who altered it didn't do the best job bringing in the bust and the delicate crepe fabric was rippled along the seams. I brought it in to Valli to see if there was anything that could be done and she worked wonders - I wish I had taken a before and after. She also helped me with a bridesmaids dress alteration which turned out perfectly.

Valli and her shop give off the best energy when you walk in and her attention to detail, professionalism, and quality craftsmanship is immediately apparent. She turned around both alterations in less than a week and was reasonably priced.

Valli did an amazing job on my dress. I ended up learning that I was with child, while engaged, so my dress was no longer going to fit for my wedding date! She planned a date close to my wedding for a fitting, and promised to be able to alter it in a short time frame to make sure I didn't get larger in the time from alteration, to the wedding date. She added a lace up back to my dress, so I could still fit in it, and also shortened it for me, in the front of dress! It was hand beaded, vintage dress, so very meticulous work, and she did a wonderful job. I also liked that she did a rough quote over email ( other places make you bring it in), to help with a busy schedule. She is also an absolute sweetheart, and made me feel so special in the process....
