Mazzio’s Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Tahlequah

My experience today was poor due to bad employee attitude, a lack of proper employee training, and terrible customer service. We went about a month ago for the lunch buffet, but we don't get off for lunch until 1:00pm and the buffet ends at 1:30. We had a poor experience then, but hoped today things would have improved. They were the same. In the past, if you came in after 1:00, they would ask you if you wanted anything special made, and let you know up front that the buffet would be ending at 1:30, but they would make you anything you ordered. The last two times, the girl taking our payment was rude when asked if we could order something. Today she said it would be up to the cook. So when she went to ask the cook, he threw his arms up in the air, walked to his clipboard where he keeps a record of what he's made, bangs his utensils on the counter, and scowls at us. So, we got our plates and went to get our salad. Except there was almost nothing in the salad bowl. We dug around the upside down plate at the bottom of the bowl, fished out enough lettuce to make a small salad, and went to set down. The other (nice) waitress came by and we asked for salt, pepper, and a knife. She said they don't have salt or pepper, but she would bring a knife. What?? You're selling me an $11.00 salad and pizza buffet, but you can't offer packets of salt and pepper! Another customer and his wife came in right about 1:25 and stood at the counter waiting on rude waitress or someone to take there order. They stood there for a good 5 minutes or more. Rude waitress finally comes to the counter and informs them the buffet is closed. Instead of offering to let them eat from what is available on the buffet, she refuses to serve them. They complain that they've been waiting. She says loudly across the restaurant, as they're going out the door, "We were busy!" No one comes to ask about refills on drinks or to go drinks. So I went to the counter to request a refill. Rude waitress tells me to go sit down and she will bring it to my table, which she does, slamming the cup on the table. We also wanted to request a drink to go, but she turned and walked away without asking. She headed for the door to the parking lot and went to a red truck that had just pulled up and began a long conversation. We flagged down nice waitress and she brought us a to go drink with a smile. Needless to say we have been very disappointed with the service. It used to be much better. One a good note, the pizza was still good. I believe the manager has a lot of the accountability for the situation. There should be a clear policy on how the buffet is to be run. If you're going to sell the buffet till 1:30pm, then it should be well stocked all the way till 1:30, and you should be able to order special request pizza all the way till the end. And the cook should have nothing to say about it. That's just crazy. Also, there should be clear expectations for how customers are to be treated. And for god's sake, but some salt and pepper for...

I wish you could rate no stars:( I usually always ordered from Mazzio’s had a few terrible experiences before but after this I think I will start to orders from dominoes........ I Recently orders from Mazzio’s when I called I was on hold for 10 minutes!(I ordered at 3:00-3:30 there are never busy at that time) 🤷🏽‍♂️ I had headphones in When the person on the phone picked up all I heard was mumbling could not hear name! All I heard was phone number, i have them my phone and after no one responded I said did you get? They said yes is this for “Crystal” I said no it’s for Heath they waited 1-2 minutes to respond then she asked me for my address, I gave it to them slow did not respond for some time then they repeated my address to me wrong! I told them again they did not respond for Awhile the she said “ok” she said sorry we do not deliver to your address (EVEN THO IVE ORDER FROM THERE DOSENS OF TIMES!!) I then say oh...... ok well thank you. No response. I did not get her name because she mumbled it in the begging of the call. Was NOT! happy with the operator. First off we go inside and it seems as though the entire place is ran by teenagers. Secondly we ordered 2 salads and one pizza. The salad bar was disgusting. The lettuce was old and there were entire romaine hearts in the bowl that should have been disposed of. No tomatoes, no cucumbers, no cheese, and the ham looked gray and about a month old. When I asked for cheese I was told on a Saturday that they were out until Tuesday. After ordering the salad I asked that it be removed from my ticket as I was not going to pay $5 for old lettuce and dressing. As the pizza arrives for the children, the same girl that I complained to about the salad bar decides to restock with everything fresh. What a kniving little brat. It was on purpose. As we waited I noticed none of the kitchen help was wearing a hairnet. The dish guy had hair to his shoulders and all in his face touching the "clean" salad plates with his hair the entire trip.
