Okay on a good note, we bought a heater at the end of winter last year, used it less than a month once fall/winter approached it quit working we took it back they gave us a new one! So that November we bought a Stihl chainsaw this is where we've had nothing but problems. When we bought it they informed us they would register it for us, great we THOUGHT"! WE even bought a six pack of Stihl oil to get an extra year warranty. Moving on, we didn't use it till April/May 2016 filled it up with super unleaded (premium) gas mixed the correct oil/gas ratio. Didn't even use a full tank of gas and it quit on us. We returned it to Atwoods in July were their mechanic was to look at it and they would get back with us. Come Oct. We went to Atwoods to our surprise their it sat with nothing done. They informed us their mechanic quit/fired oh a month or so ago... But we sure weren't informed. They told us we needed to take it to another stihl shop. Totally upset that they didn't fix what they sold us nor replace it or call us to tell us nobody was there to fix things. Just FYI: Stihl's policy is whoever sells their products are to put enough fuel/oil in your equipment and let it run for at least 60 seconds , all though atwoods didn't feel like it at the time we bought it, I guess! Also take into consideration we live 90 miles round trip to atwoods. Anyway on to the REAL stihl guys we found out that the saw HAD NOT been REGISTERED!!!! I called atwoods explained to assistant manager who is much more helpful than the gentleman manager. She said she would look it up in their computer, well it's the least they could do since I wouldn't have needed a receipt had they registered it. She calls right back and faxed it over to where we had to take our saw. There was also a tag that was placed on the saw from atwoods that said " not repairable " How would they know that if no one ever looked at it??? Remember it's under warranty. Also, since atwoods did not register it we lost our extra year warranty. So warning register your own stuff. From what I've heard from around here is that this particular atwoods is not customer friendly when it comes to warranting their products. Although I love to shop there for clothes and my boots, daughters nice clothes also but if they can't accommodate me in some sort of way for all my time and troubles and stress. I will not be returning to atwoods, I will carry my Christmas shopping to tractor supply.. And I have always spent 4,5 the most $600 at Christmas time. So I'm...
Read moreI Googled the items that I wanted to purchase after I did ground work by physically visiting perspective sights. As most of us agree, we hope to find the best price available even when we have to go to "H" and back to find it. Sometimes it's a deal and sometimes it's a bust. Yesterday, I paid $25.00 per item more on 6 fence panels for my horses because my footwork didn't turn up any better prices. My search continued only because the place that I purchased those 6 panels didn't have the quantity I was looking for. I should have used my brain power instead of my feet and gas. Atwoods is one of my first choices when I look for many of my major purchases. I visited a closer site before I made my original purchase. The store that I visited just didn't have any of the products that I wanted. It didn't occur to me to ask. And it didn't occur to me that Atwood's would have another site so close. When I Googled the product, the quantity and location were revealed. I was so relieved that I rushed to the Atwood's in Talaquaha, OK. Now you'd think it would be a breeze from here right. There computer said they didn't have any...! I was in shock. The clerk asked me ..."green pipe?" I said "no 6' brown pipe by 12' ". So she sent a clerk to check. When he returned; "no, 6' brown". Well, to shorten the story. There was a miscommunication and a great deal of time and searches etc. The 6' high x 12' long brown fence panels were available. I made my purchase. I also purchased 2 bunk feeders and a 100' garden hose. A very expensive day for me, but a successful outcome and substantial savings....
Read moreAs much as I love shopping here, I just wish the cashiers were more friendly. Every time I check out here the cashier will treat you like you are a major inconvenience. It's kind of nice to hear them gossip about anybody and everybody but you are definitely cutting into their gossip time. I guess they stop doing as much popcorn as they were doing as well because there never seems to be any when I go. Some of the products I love buying are the extremely hot pickle slices, the giant tub of peanut butter-filled pretzels, pickled brussel sprouts, giant bags of dog food.
A few random bullet points ·the cowboy boots are pretty reasonably priced ·I enjoy how many seed options there are for planting ·if you are in need of assistance while shopping finding someone will be a chore ·I like the temperature, nice and cool ·I would like to buy outdoor faucet hardware from here but none of it is priced and I don't want to ask for a price check on every single one ·they have super cute outdoor accessories like wind chimes, solar lamps, chairs and...
