Story time!!!!! I love this store and I usually have a wonderful time shopping your store because you have modern, contemporary, and elegant options to purchase for all rooms in your home. I came tho this location because earlier that day, I made a questionable decision on some curtains (black)at another store and wanted to see if maybe I could find another color (emerald green). I walked into the store with a big shopping bag, and a nice young lady was behind the counter. We'll call her (Smiley). I asked, "Is it possible I could leave this bag here with you while I shop around and maybe return it or exchange?" She smiles and says,"absolutly." As I'm handing her my bag here comes big bad "Manager Rob" to un-save the day!!! "Manager Rob" tells smiley "No don't take that. We are busy and there is so much going on in the store and we are closing soon." I am not sure why this was relevant, but I turned to him and said,"Wow!! You are extremely rude." That conversation probably should have happened while customers weren't watching. Smiley was being helpful and doing her job! I then tell smiley. "I'll just return it and shop around I just don't want to walk around with a bag of merchandise through the store and judging by "Manager Rob" and his large attitude that might not bode well for me." Smiley returns it and then says," I'll hold it back here if you decide to buy it back." UNESSISARY to do all that, right!? "Manager Rob" was hovering, and I didn't want him spilling his negative energy on to "Smiley." Mind you, Smiley said, "I will hold them here for you," and "Manager Rob" heard this because he was so close I could smell the cheap brute colongue he was wearing! I went on my way and found a pair of lamps, 3 candles, and a pair of curtain rods. The announcement comes on the loud speaker! "We are closing in 5 minutes, If you would kindly take your selections to the register, we will help you with your purchase. For your convenience we will re-open tomorrow at 930am. Thank you for shopping at home goods!" I rushed to the resister and and I got there "Smiley" was helping someone else, but I got someone just as good...."Smiles." Juste as helpful and happy as "Smiley." I asked her about curtains that were left behind the counter, and she said "Oh my manager just walked off with them in a cart. Would you like me to get it for you from the back?" Now "Manager Rob" you really have the most active superpower of being un-helpful and spiteful knowing I said I was coming back to purchase them. I really feel bad for the workers. "Manager Rob" you need more training on how to deal with people, a little more patience, kindness and maybe some smiling lessons from "Smiley" and "Smiles!!!" Store 10/10 recommend! "Manager Rob" 5/10 needs...
Read moreMy wife and I shop at this particular store religiously, but after today's awful customer service we will no longer be shopping here. My wife and I found an accent piece of furniture that had a price sticker of $39.99 on it. While my wife and I were debating on buying the piece we saw no other price sticker on the item. When we brought the item to the register to pay for it we were greeted by a rude cashier. Apparently there was an additional price tag hanging underneath the piece that was not visible unless you searched for it. The price was $70 and the price difference was not a big deal, but the way that the lady handled the situation was unprofessional and rude. When I explained to the lady that we never saw that price and only the one that was visible. She said "we will not honor it" in a rude manner. At this point it was based upon principle that we decided to not buy the item. As we were walking away the lady mumbled "today is going to be a crazy day". I'm disgusted in the lack of professionalism displayed towards us (the customer). As a business owner, I understand how far customer service goes - this was a classics case on "what not to do in...
Read moreI drove all the way from Lutz to see if they had an item bc no one was answering the phone at this location. The guy was calling for 10 minutes. When I got there, the store was pretty much empty, and the two ladies up front were standing around talking. They never greeted me upon entering or exciting. No one ever acknowledged me, even as i wondered the store. Crazy thing is, as I was waking out, another patron had a similar complaint about the employees not being friendly or helpful. It seems as if the people at this location are simply not helpful at all. It was my first time in and y'all left a horrible first impression and made me waste my gas when all you had to do was answer the phone!
This is the only location that I hadn't been to and I must say, this is the most unkept location. Everything was all over the place, which is why I found myself wandering around. Very...
