Love the sky ride! If you don't have access to the free rides, $5 is a small price to pay for a great experience. You get many great advantage points for pictures, and it's nice having your own little open air car. Operations can vary by day and time of day. Generally opens at 11a, and will close sporadically throughout the day, which is usually limited due to wind speeds. Wait times can vary as well, but a LOT shorter once the $5 was implemented, most of my visits I walk on or wait a couple of minutes.

Skyride is very relaxing and offers a fanominal aerial view of Busch Gardens. It is much quicker than the train if you're looking for a fast way to get from one end of the park to the other, Skyride also consistently has far shorter wait times than the train. This time, we waited about 5 or 6 minutes for Skyride versus a solid 30-40 minutes for the train.

After riding Montu, we went to the restroom near this ride around 11:55am on Friday Nov. 14th. We noticed signage for the ride said it would be opening in 5 minutes (noon), so decided to wait and try it out.

5 minutes past the hour and the barricade was still up and a long line had grown behind us. The ride attendants were standing around in the tunnel talking and ignoring us.

At 12:10 we went up to the barricade and asked if the ride was going to he opening, the attendants said "We'll let you know...

One of the best relaxing rides at the park, whenever it’s hot or I need to relax I like to take the sky ride up to see the animals and attractions it’s quite a relaxing site. It’s 5 dollars but if you’re an annual pass holder like me it’s free. If you are into photography this is definitely a place for you. If you are into animals this is totally for you!
