The quality of this place was truly astounding. After waiting in line for over an hour, I made it to the grimy backrooms they call the kitchen where they cook what they call “food.” I was frustrated by the long lines but figured it was just because there were a lot of people but when I got in there, I realized it was because the workers were all sloths. Slower, actually. Despite hundreds of people waiting in 80 degree weather in line, there was no sense of urgency for them. It was almost as if they were competing to see who could fill the least amount of orders. Boy, it was a close competition! You have to speak very slow for the workers; they don’t really know very much about anything so you have to be very specific and careful with them so they can understand you. I actually never caught a single nice one either. They all look at you as if asking for food is an unforgivable sin, and speak to you accordingly. They are condescending, mean, and miserable. And they like to take it out on their customers. After this already awful experience, they took it to eleven with the quality of the food. I’m worried for my health. Every single dish was ice cold and some of the worst food I’ve ever had. I think I would be better suited finding a bathroom and making a hand soap-paper towel taco than eating whatever they had to offer. I think their paper plates are probably more nutritious, and definitely more tasty, than what was on them. I expected more for the price they charged. I’m going to have to ration my own food for the next few months just to make up the debt this place put me in. Twenty dollars for a finger full of stir-fried rice? Are you kidding me? The portions are extremely small and considering what they charge, I have no idea how any customer makes it out of there with money left in their bank account. Not to mention the fact that I almost didn’t have a way to eat it. The cutlery situation is just atrocious. They have these gnarly plastic utensils in machines on the way out and in my attempt to get a fork to eat my grool, the machines were all broken. I and several other customers spent the better part of about eight minutes trying to get a fork out. The staff, of course, was no help. They waddled around, more confused as us and even less help. Eventually, we found a way to break open the machines in search of a way to eat and we got our forks. This entire experience ruined the first day of my vacation. I write this review, sick to my stomach, literally and figuratively, wishing I could go back and make the choice to starve rather than go to the Dragon Fire Grill. This place should be shut down. The Dragon Fire Grill is a disgrace to food and to restaurants and to cafeterias, and should be banished from this realm before it has the chance to ruin anyone else’s bank account, time,...
Read moreThey have some great cheese pizza my kid's love it. They told me it reminded them of a Chunky Cheese but Uber scaled ⚖ . I love the light music 🎶 playing in the back it has a lunchroom feeling if you ask me but a nice👍 lunchroom. I think they used to do performances but I am assuming they have all stopped. The reason I come to this conclusion is because I have seen no signs stating any tileading any times for performances. Nor did I see any notification about days for performances. I meant to ask a staff member about it but as usual my kids side tracked me. Add that to me being easily distracted and things fall throught the cracks but that's life.
The air conditioning makes it worth coming to the specific Restaurant. They have chicken wings here they have French fries they have hamburgers and they have pizza. I know they have other options as well but the place had a lot of people getting in lot's of different places. So I just tried to squirrel my way round people to get what the kid's wanted .... Because they were driving me insane🙃. They were hungry and when they're hungry My husband and I get one way tickets to frownville's.
The staff is very sweet I didn't meet a single one of them that wasn't very charming. They're warm loving bunch of people. The cashier was very patient with me when my husband told me to go get a soda and handed me a dollar. I got up there went through the line and and released it was $1.08. I had to call my husband he came up and handed her a scan the Barcode of our members ID his phone app. It gave me a discount so my soda was only 88 cents. I had already given the cashier my $1.00 so When the lady looked down and started counting out my change I felt bad. I told her she could keep it but she declined. She was Laughing as she told me that she thought my husband was a genius. only did he fixing my problem, but also got the restaurant to pay us and it was the other way around just...
Read moreI just wrote a pretty harsh review of Busch Gardens overall, but I had to call out this place specifically. I have NEVER seen such ineptitude in any dining establishment in my 53 years. The place is set up like a food court at the mall, with various cuisines all prepared at separate kiosks -except that you pay as you exit to the dining room. The line for the Italian food was about 10 people deep when we got in. The choices were extremely limited. 30 MINUTES LATER, we split up and I moved next door to the Mexican food line, which was by then about 3 people deep - the idea being that whoever got to the food first would order for everyone. Italy won by a hair, but we ended up getting some of each - 45 MINUTES after we first got in line. Remember, 10 people ahead of us. I had the Mexican. My choices were basically nachos either in a taco-salad shell, or over tortilla chips (I chose the chips). It was poor quality - not as good as the cheapest fast food Tex-Mex ... but, like everything else at Busch Gardens, EXPENSIVE. That plate of fully-loaded nachos was pushing $20 - just for that, nothing else included. To be fair, the portion was generous - but the flavors were incredibly bland (bland Tex-Mex?!?!?). The staff were wandering around behind the counter, looking perplexed. Actually they were mostly standing around behind the counter. They had no sense of urgency, but did have rather surly attitudes. The place didn't feel particularly clean either. Dragon Fire Grill earned every bit of...
