Camino Real Imports-Plaza — Local services in Taos

So, this is a good stop for tourists that want a take home item from their New Mexico trip. Definitely a big language barrier between myself (I speak English) and the cashier/employee (who did not speak English) so I am sure that explains some confusion in explaining sales to other customers. Everything in this store is priced high, but I found a small keepsake like I wanted. Just spent a lot more than planned on it. The person told us "everything is on sale today" as we walked in the store. But then when we picked out 2 items we wanted to buy, suddenly they were mysteriously not on sale. Through some random and inexplicable logic, we had somehow managed to find the only items in the entire store not on sale. Shady, dishonest business. Avoid it...

Lots and lots and lots of hand-painted ceramics. And you had to pay the price for it too. What caught my friend’s attention were the alpaca shawls and he got several of them.
