Whataburger — Restaurant in Taos

Ordered from here 08/14 around 8PM. It took almost 30min to get our food with only 5 cars in front of us so service was a little slow. The girl who took our order sounded new so that’s whatever, what matters is that she was very nice. But if yall don’t know how to make a burger lettuce wrapped when requested please just ask. We ordered the #7 meal and it was okay. We got the #11 lettuce wrapped and all they did was dump the ingredients in a plastic bin like a salad…so I’m supposed to make the burger myself I guess. Same with the #2…lettuce wrapped and asked for cheese, they made it like a salad and didn’t even give me the cheese which was $2 to add. The fries for every meal tasted like they had been sitting there since before we ordered so pretty old. This was our first time trying whataburger and what a disappointment it was! Yall have over 4 stars so we were excited to try, but it seems it depends who is working and in charge. Given that it was only 8pm is really disappointing given the quality in food we ate. Every time I visit to get my food, I’m always warmly greeted by Nancy. She’s such a joy—always wearing a smile, even in the midst of a busy and chaotic environment. I deeply appreciate everything she does for me, and I’ve noticed the care she shows to other customers as well. Nancy truly goes above and beyond.

No offense but I think the vast majority of the Taos community was hoping to get something other than McDonalds and Wendy’s to eat at their service sucks half our orders are missing something or tastes like it’s been sitting for hours on end.
