The fantastic, lively, and charmingly-quirky vibration inside this quaint little shop just North of the Plaza may be the reason people come. But Michelle herself, is the reason the come BACK! I first walked-in in 2006, and returned 11 years later...and then again just last week! Actually, for 17 years, locals and "Taosguests" alike have shown that they know the difference between a business that is merely owned, and one that is LOVED. Michelle told me herself that she gets excited each and every morning on her drive into town. Local artists who make their jewelry and crafts by hand, talented boutique clothing designers hoping she'll carry their lines, and even customers she hasn't seen in months (or years) cross her threshold by the minute, every day of the week. (That's right, 7-days a week. When someone loves their work, they come to work every day!) So come for the fun, fashion, and creative interaction. Leave with something adorable for someone you love. And remember, that person can be You. Love the Boutique! Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery rude to local taosenos or native Americans. If anyone walks in that looks bellow middle class status she turns her nose to and watches as if they are there to steal. She does not give back to the local community or charities. Only treats "tourist" looking people nice because they give her a larger profit. I myself will never shop there again. I look caucasian and wear trendy clothes and she was very friendly and helpful to me but my sister went there as a recommendation from me but was treated as is she didn't belong and watched as if she was going to steal. My sister looks like a local taosena and Hispanic. It makes me sad that I can go into a business and get good service because of my appearance but my family gets treated different because they dress or look different. Little did she know my sister is so much...
