While visiting the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs and walking through many of the shops I discovered this peaceful refuge. The storefront was inviting the colors from the window invited me in. Once inside I felt such inner peace. Surrounded by beautiful tokens handmade that reflect the peace the waters bring to your soul. Through the boutique I explored and found myself falling in love with several piece of jewelry. I received one of the jewelry as a gift that sums up the past decade...”Wish Upon A Star Fish”... it touched my heart because the symbol of Domestic Violence is the starfish... the story of the rescued starfish is a symbol that someone took the time to throw it back in the ocean so it could live one more day...my story much like many rescued starfish but thanks to this store the new bracelet I am wearing reminds me that someone loved me enough to give me another chance. Finding inner peace is hard, finding a piece of jewelry in this gem of a store is easy...even better they are...
Read moreI mostly have loved this store but I recently visited and saw they had ‘blind date with a book.’ As an avid reader and seeing these on social media, I thought it was a cute idea and I’d get one with a friend. The price was marked as $17.50, and although that is a little pricey as far as average prices of new books, I knew I was paying for the experience. If you are going to sell these at that price, it needs to be at least a new book in good condition. Looking at the ones we got, you know they got them in a donation box or for a dollar. If that’s the case, don’t be greedy and mark it up 1700%. My fault for trusting in the...
Read moreThis was the second store my wife and I visited on Sponge Docks after we walked the street to see what stores there were. And, it is by far our second favorite store at SDs.
While at the store, I met the owner who was very personable. We talked about the area, his store, restaurants at the SD, the TS Olive Oil Company next door, and the weather. Not only is the store itself very inviting, the owner and his staff are amazing.
I this store you will find hand crafted artisan soaps, a large selection of bangles, rings, bracelets, and some clothing.
My wife and I picked up some items for our kids and for my wife. We love what we picked up, but we loved the shopping experience even more.
This a MUST visit store when you go to the...
