Fudge is good and the people who work there were very helpful. When was the last time you walked into a shop and were greeted by a bright and cheerful face. This shop has the feel of the a small town store. I was helped by a person who knew FUDGE, I mean actually knew the product. I settled for the main stream chocolate fudge, I was not feeling to adventurous. There are several options to choose from when selecting the fudge. Now hold on because there was a special going on the day I was in the store, buy 3 get 1 free. Now this may not seem like much but when you see the size of the fudge pieces you will understand why I get so excited. My fudge got boxed up and handed over to me with specific instructions to NOT put the fudge in the refrigerator as this would dry out the fudge. I find it really nice that the person who helped us in the shop was so passionate about fudge. This place in my book is a must stop location if you want some great fudge. One final note , I also found a reorder form in my box of fudge so when I run out I can get my refill. Maybe I will get more adventurous on my next batch and give a Rocky...

Look the fudge is DELICIOUS! Smooth and rich with no strange after taste that doesn't fit with most places we try. Which is why it was such a shame that the woman, the owner or wife of the owner was so off putting and unfriendly! I get their one sample per customer rule. Totally respect it. But we were checking out with a whole piece each when I asked to try a piece of the dark chocolate. We weren't taste testing them and walking out the door like some sample happy free loaders. She lost another sale. Not only that, but she was very curt and seemed as if a bit bothered by our presence. My husband loves fudge but after her remark about trying to hand his card back but him having walked away to look at their salt water taffy... It's hard to explain.. I didn't say anything, but when my husband and I walked out he looked at me and said "well that was unpleasant.." Maybe she was just having a bad day.. Her husband was delightful and the shop signs are charming. I just wished we had experienced a better reception. It's pricey, but...

I have been to the fudge factory many times. I love the fudge here and thats says a lot since im not a fan of fudge. Have always had a great experience with the family that owns the place. I cant say enough good things about this place, its a must on any trip down to the sponge docks. Its a lot of fun to watch them make the fudge. Another plus is that they ship nation wide. I happen to look at a review that said the fudge was over priced. You get about a half a pound in one slice so i would have to disagree with that comment and say that for the amount of fudge you get prices are more than fair. I have been to other places where you pay more, get less and the quality is no where close to this place. If i could give more ...
