Purchased items on May 25th one week ago and found four of the items are damaged. Phone number “ out of order” when trying to inquire about faulty product. The two gals in the store, a brunette and a blonde were nice, and knocked off a little extra unexpectedly but really rush the checkout when there’s no one behind you. Should’ve been the first clue. Started telling us how the guy owns four different shops in the building (I suppose that is Lighthouse shops, the one with an out of service phone number when you google search) now makes me think they are going out of business or a scam of sorts. Cute stuff hanging up but 4 of the purses purchased on clearance were in clear plastic bags and found to be moldy with peeling on their “leather“ doesn’t make buying on sale worth it when you have to throw it in the trash. On my vacation in Florida I purchased a leather backpack from Tarpon Leather Outlet. We then went to Orlando to the amusment parks where on the first day the main zipper of the backpack broke. Since I was on vacation I did not look into contacting Tarpon Leather Outlet until I returned. After looking up the store on Google the phone number is incorrect and I tried calling the office of Lighthouse Shops with no success. Eventually I contacted another store in the shops to get the correct phone number. After speaking with the owner, I only requested that the backpack be replaced, I was even willing to ship it back myself and send a return label so no expense to the shop. My answer was NO, our policy is 7 days which I understand, but under the circumstance I don't think I was asking much just an exchange for a working bag.
