We visited the Safford House for the Christmas Holiday Season. It was a very pleasant place to visit with a great docent named Bob. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the house and family who lived there. He made sure that you knew the importance of the family to Tarpon Springs history. The building itself was remarkable and its rooms looked as they would have in the 19th century. The wood covered walls and ceilings are exactly as they would have been. The only problem is parking.
