About a year ago I was recommended by a family member. I had them replace my battery in my Mudmaster G-Shock, it was about $30. After about six months I noticed moisture inside the face on humid days then the watch stopped working. I finally got to watching videos and decided to replace the battery myself. After pulling the backplate off I found that the backplate gasket was missing. I was using a clean table and had my pieces organized so I know I didn’t loose it taking it apart. I went to the store and nobody there, I rang the bell and called the phone and could hear it ringing and nothing. I left for about 20 mins and came back. The guy who was the same person who I originally had replaced the battery showed up. He was nice and said he doesn’t think that’s something they would do. I explained I understand mistakes happen but can you please look to see if you have the gasket or another one. He looked for a bit and came back and could not find. He said maybe I could use some sealant to seal the back of the watch. This is a $500 watch. I’m not doing that. Needles to say they will not be getting my recommendations to anyone or any...
