My husband and I went in yesterday, "just to take a quick look" and ended up buying quite a few items...even 2 nice rain jackets! We kept walking and stopping and taking it all in and making a list for what we'd be getting the next time we come in. Very good prices. The employees were very helpful and nice, especially the gentleman outside, explaining how the cart system works. There were some really unique items as well as items that everyone buys. Common name brand items were higher priced than I usually see in our local stores but the other brands we're quite a bit cheaper. Loved all the holiday themed food items I saw. Lots of great things to take as hostess gifts or holiday party contributions. Even a few fun treats that would make unique stocking stuffers. I was a little bummed that there was very little diet soda choices as that was what I actually was hoping to pick up on that quick stop, so I hope their inventory increases soon. The Hawaiian rolls we picked up at the last second are the best I've ever had. For anyone who is gluten free, they seemed to have a lot of choices for that too. Really looking forward to the next...
Read moreWow, I am so glad that Aldi opened in Temecula. The 5 dollar outside tablecloths are fabulous. They don't seem to fade in the sun. During German week, I bought some Donauwelle and other German goodies that brought back childhood memories. Their large honey crisp apples were also to die for. From produce, to meat, to flowers (bought orchids - 3 ice cubes a week and they are gorgeous) to stuff for the house, I keep finding great bargains and have never been disappointed about a product. If anything is missing and you find out after you get home, call Corporate- explain your issue and they will tell you a way to get your money back. The receipt shows the salespersons name and time. The rest of the shopping experience has always been...
Read moreAldi isn't a Whole Foods, Natural Grocers, a PCM ect., and they don't pretend to be. They offer solid products and alternatives to familiar "name brands" at good prices. The store is set up in a somewhat warehouse fashion. There's minimal staffing to keep costs down but I've always been able to get help when I've needed it. Be sure to bring your own bags and be ready to bag up your groceries yourself. And a quarter... don't forget your quarter to get a cart. You'll get it back when you return your cart. 25 cents is all it seems to take to get the lazy ones to return their carts instead of leaving them behind your car or ramed into your car door. Aldi, like Trader Joe's is always an adventure, so go, try some new and different things and have fun with it. 3/7/25 - just as good as ever. Great prices and...
