Unfortunately, I can’t say I’m happy with the service or the outcome. I took my computer in on 2/28 because it stopped charging. I paid $143.75 up front for it to be repaired. I asked if it was likely to take long to repair and was told no. Victor had asked if I wanted my files, and I said yes, but never got them. I was told that he’d start working on it that Monday and give me a call with the assessment. On Wednesday, I called in because I’d gotten no update, and was told the owner had it off-site, so I couldn’t be updated yet. I called multiple other times to check on the status, one of those times being told I’d be called right back because Victor was with a customer, and then I didn’t get called back. Apparently I’m not an important customer once they have my money. Eventually, about 2 weeks later I was told they could epoxy a crack for $50 or do something more expensive without a quote for that more “expensive” thing. On March 18, I finally spoke to the person who had my computer, Diego. He said the same thing, but said I’d need to order a part myself if I wanted to do the more expensive thing. He said he’d give me the information to order it. I told him to epoxy it while I order the part. He said he’d have the computer done that day and he’d call me to pick it up. I didn’t get called until the next day. I finally picked it up on March 19th and stood around for an hour because the computer was now giving an error message. They had lost my keyboard cover and said they’d look for it. I also never got the information for the part to fix it more permanently and was told he’d look for it on ebay and get back to me, but I doubt it based on the history of service. He told me he wouldn’t charge me for the epoxy yet. I took the computer home and noticed the mousepad is no longer positioned correctly when it was before. One side sticks up higher now. I worked on restoring files until it was at a low charge, and then plugged it in to find out it still doesn’t charge. I left a message for them that night asking them to call me back the next day, and nobody did. I called in and Victor told me to bring it back, and I asked about whether my keyboard cover was found, and got a ‘No, sorry.’ So, in the end I paid up front for my computer not to be fixed after 20 days, the keyboard cover to be lost, and the mouse pad to be damaged.
