My wife and I made a deposit for our wedding reception that was originally scheduled in May 2020 with Tanya Lopez at Creative Catering. Her sample food was great and she was very kind and flexible at first. However, once Covid hit, things took a turn for the worst. We originally had to postpone our wedding and reception until August 2020 because of the Covid pandemic. We were still not able to have the wedding in August 2020 due to ongoing Covid restrictions and decided to get married at a very small ceremony in October 2020, to comply with public gathering restrictions. We requested a return of our deposit ($3,255). We understood that no one was responsible for the pandemic but decided not to keep deferring the wedding. We entered the arrangement with Tanya for a specific date and then agreed on a delayed date, which also did not occur. We understand that the pandemic had an impact on her business, but since services weren't provided after two unsuccessful attempts to schedule a wedding and reception, it was reasonable to request a refund our deposit. We attempted to reach a mutual agreement with Tanya to receive some form of a partial refund, but nothing came from it. Tanya and her husband came out and did a site walk with us originally, and we want to ensure that we provide a payment for their time spent for that service as well as the pre-wedding discussions that she spent time with us on. Furthermore, Tanya stated she had already spent the money from our deposit, though we didn't receive any other services from her. After continuous follow up emails and calls with Tanya, we were told to now communicate only with her "lawyer." We reached out to her "lawyer" and were told that they cannot confirm whether or not Creative Catering is actually their client. So as of now, I have no response from Creative Catering or their legal representation. All of this could have easily been solved if Tanya was willing to work with us on this in regards to receiving a partial refund, as all of the other vendors we had hired have done. Instead, Tanya has spent our deposit of $3255 and we are left with nothing. Be careful before handing any form of deposit over to Creative Catering as you will never get anything back or any meaningful...

We had an event of about 55 adults, and our decorator was able to go in earlier in the day and set up the space for our reception (but mind you the space is already beautiful and well decorated within itself, you wouldn't need much extra!). They even had the patio set up with tables, and chairs, and heat lamps. The venue can be perfectly set up to your liking! CCE will change out and provide any tables you need to customize your event.
The DJ that Tanya provided (Dj Kev) was so good and highly recommended! We worked with him about 2 weeks prior to the event to identify special songs for first dance, bouqets toss, garter toss, etc. He has this amazing app where you can put in all your info and the types of music you would like played and a timeline. He was so good because he wasn't just acting as the DJ, he expanded the scope to even act as kind of a masters of ceremony and adhere to the schedule for the evening with making announcements to our guests.
Our guests had a blast at the open bar. We did have to provide our own spirits, wine, and beer for the bar, and CCE provides all the mixers, but that is no issue at all as with the package, CCE provides your food, tableware, hot and cold beverages. You can even have them rent champagne flutes (we needed th for our champagne toast) at an additional minor cost.
All in all, please rent this space. We had a 5 star experience! We love CCE's transparency, their flexibility, and how they were able to accommodate our special day. Everything from the wait staff to the food, drinks, and dancing! It was magical 😊 My husband and I thank you so much and look forward to booking with you in the future!
Went to see the new venue for our private event. It is very beautiful for a small gathering. Tanya and her Husband were more than helpful with showing us the space and all they could offer. I am looking forward to utilizing this company for my...

From the start, we had to chase them down for answers, confirmations, and basic follow-through. It was clear they were not organized or detail-oriented — on the day of the event, they didn’t even have the correct hors d’oeuvres prepared. There was a clear lack of attention to detail, which became increasingly apparent the closer we got to the event.
On the day of our engagement party, the team was not prepared. They were disorganized and didn’t have the correct items ready, despite this being discussed multiple times beforehand. The event did not run smoothly at all, largely because they seemed to have no clear plan or structure. Multiple issues piled up quickly and showed how unprepared they truly were. The venue had a leak from the AC that caused water to pour down — not only damaging personal belongings but even leaking directly onto the bride. On top of that, the air conditioning was clearly not functioning properly, and guests were extremely uncomfortable in the intense summer heat (this is in Temecula, CA, in June).
To make matters worse, raw seafood was served — an incredibly careless and unsafe mistake, especially in the heat. Instead of taking responsibility, we were met with a string of excuses throughout the process. Their attitude came off as unprofessional & it was extremely disappointing to see how little care went into something so important to my fiancée and I.
The only two bright spots in the entire experience were Ryan, the bartender, whose positive energy our guests truly appreciated, and the security personnel — who honestly did more to make us feel comfortable than the actual event staff.
Overall, VIP Room / Creative Catering fell far short of expectations, and their lack of preparation and care had a serious impact on what was supposed to be a...
