I initially heard of Dedicated Jiu Jitsu a couple of years ago from a friend after mentioning an interest for martial arts. I most recently decided to give it a try for their 6AM classes. After training here consistently for five months, I can say Dedicated offers a solid environment for anyone genuinely interested in learning and growing in Jiu Jitsu.
Coach Jason has created both a welcoming and structured space. The environment is friendly, supportive, and motivating. Not only is their emphasis on skill but also building a positive culture. The coaching is attentive with a strong focus on technique and safety.
Everyone Iâve trained with has been respectful, helpful, and willing to share their techniques. Class is not overly intense or intimidating, but challenging in the right ways. Dedicated has helped me stay consistent and push myself both physically and mentally.

Read moreWe have been coming here for almost a year. My husband, our 2 kids (6 and 7 years old) and myself all train with Jason Medina. Professor Jason is SO GOOD with the kids and makes sure that they are learning good technique while also having fun on the mat. This sport has taught my kids discipline and working hard. My husband and I started about 6 months ago and that has been the best decision ever. Professor Jason takes his time helping beginners understand the technique and teaches with so much detail making it easy to understand. As a woman coming into this sport it was intimidating but I felt so secure once I got to know everyone. Professor Steve Bendel is also amazing and does a great job teaching technique as well. The teaching is very detail oriented and consistent. I highly recommend if your looking for a safe place to train to try something new, you check...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Dedicated. I have been going for about four months and have ZERO martial arts/wrestling background. The professors, Jason (owner) and Steve, have been absolutely wonderful and incredibly patient with me (a woman in my late 40s). The other people who go there always take the time to help me learn and answer my many, many questions. Full disclosure - you will get bruised and you will feel completely lost at first, but it does eventually start to make sense. Women and men roll together, which is actually really helpful, but quite humbling. I got my first stripe on my white belt today, and my 3-year-old daughter told me she wants to start doing it so she can be strong like Mommy (so she will be joining when she turns four). Come down for a free trial class and find the love for the sport that I have thanks to the...
