Melos Sandwich & Dessert — Restaurant in Temecula

This fantastic eatery is headed by a young proprietor by the name of Gabriel better known as Melo. He is one of the most polite and gracious young men we have ever met and we were fortunate to meet his younger brother, another wonderful young man! Runs in the family.

This is our second time here. The first time was back in July when I met my cousin and her family here. We were all so impressed with the quality of sandwiches and ice cream. We felt overjoyed to support a small business especially one that offers delicious food! This place is small but always so clean & bright!

They definitely know how to craft a superb sandwich. At the first visit in July I ordered the Little Melo, which was very good. These sandwiches are hefty! This time in September I ordered The Roast on wheat bread and opted for the garlic aioli. My hubby ordered the same, the tuna sandwich. The sandwiches are sublime! The bread is so fresh and my sandwich with that tasty garlic aioli, plentiful roast beef, bacon, pepper Jack cheese, avocado and veggies was just another level! My hubby savored his tuna sandwich with the cucumbers and Swiss cheese plus the awesome bread hit it out of the park again! There is flavor, freshness, and quality in every bite.

I had the ice cream the first visit, which was great! We will have to return just for the ice cream. This visit we were so full!

You can get way more and better taste at Jersey Mike's. The sandwiches are overpriced and smaller than JM. The girl there only comes out if you ring a bell. She forgot key ingredients on my club sandwich, which is not a hard thing to make. The place is super basic inside.

REPLY: First, if you pride yourself on organic ingredients, then they should taste better. They don't. You felt the need to answer every part of my review except the part where my sandwich was not made correctly. It's not hard to do. When my wife and I arrived at the peak of lunchtime, no one was around. 2 girls were painting the wall and we stood there while no one was around to help us. They girls painting the wall said we had to ring the bell to get service. I hope the feedback I've provided helps to improve...

You need to try Melo's subs and let me tell you why! I have eaten lots of sandwiches' in my day and consider myself a sandwich connoisseur, which makes me confident in saying that Melo's subs by far have the most delicious, high quality deli-sandwiches on the market. Melo's brings a unique spin with their home-made desserts that are made fresh every single day. This new trendy shop makes Temecula feel alive again with its family-friendly atmosphere and bright lights that makes anyone who enters the doors feel welcome. The customer service is superb with young, motivated employees driven to make and deliver the best tasting food in the city.
