Will start by saying that our search for good pizza has been iffy at best. Iffy meaning, and hopefully correctly spelled, that most of the times we end up with what we like to call these days an acid indigestion inducer with no redeeming qualities. Yes, we haver ordered To Go, Delivery and Pick Up. Very rarely we have encountered masterpieces. Even in the so called avant garde, toast of the town pizzerias, where besides charging a pretty penny, they bring to your table an individual size pizza, where a magnifying glass is required to see the toppings. Too cool for school type place. Yes, like Pizzeria Ortica, where they seated us by the revolving door leading to the kitchen, watching the energetic staff enter and depart from our very reduced table. Ortica is supposed to be the Cat's Meow, yet our experience was way below par. What I am trying to say is good Pizza is a hard one to find. Enter the Pizza Factory: hard to believe coupon arrived to our mailbox. Free One Topping Pizza, dine in or carry out. Right there my attention peaked. What it told me was there was this business that did not hesitate to offer a free pizza to new residents, or home owners? (the home owner thing is not written in stone), so we decided to take advantage of the offer. Nice answered the phone, very courteous, above average good manners on the phone. In response as to why they were being so nice, he candidly said "Is the best way to showcase our pizza". Which got no argument from our side, because as they say "you don't look a horse that has been given as a gift in the mouth". We, of course feeling a tad guilty for the free offering, decided to buy more toppings. Nick said each topping was around $1.70?, which sounded full of possibilities for our compulsive nature. So besides the initial topping that came with the generous offer we also ordered: Italian Sausage (we liked the sausage a lot), 4 Stars. Linguica, which is supposed to be a form of cured pork, also tasty, 4 Stars. Red Onions, fresh and al dente, couldn't get any better, 5 Stars. Feta Cheese, sprinkled additionally on top of the pizza, not a whole lot but tasty as well, 4 Stars. Canadian Bacon, this one a replica of so many places, Just average, 3.5 Stars. Anchovies (on the side, for me), nothing to write Portugal fishermen about, right out of a $2 can, I am sure, 3 Stars. Pizza dough uncharacteristically tough and chewy, a very particular kind of crust, like chewing on soft cardboard but much much tastier. I liked it, but can see where some people, including one in our group, found it a little on the rough side. Red Sauce, nothing exceptional, like many others out there. Service over the phone by Nick L., 5 Shinning Stars (that is exactly the way to treat a customer, Nick, with class and patience), the food a 3.5 Stars, price in this case was under $9 because of the out of the ordinary kind offer. Inside, according to Chris who picked it up, crowded with lots of family, arcade, friendly noise. Not a big place this location, but appeared very busy, and that might explained why they offered the large pizza at no cost. Customers are the lifeline of any business. Will I return? Doubtful, but possible. After all, once they do us a kind turn, we tend to...
Read moreLet me start by saying, oh my Goodness Thank you thank you thank you!!! This place was such a hit and so beyond amazing. I called to make a reservation for 40. Yes, 40. I took my flag cheer team and some of flag football team there to have lunch. And let me start by saying the entire experience was beyond awesome. I’m not sure if you guys had service training, but if so, it showed. Every manager was so accommodating and helpful. First of all, it’s not easy to deal with a ton of kiddos on a warm Saturday afternoon, so your staff was definitely prepared. And that was amazing. This place allowed us to call ahead, and order so when we arrived from our game, everything was neat and beautifully arranged on tables across the dining areas. The energy there was so overwhelming happy and fun that every parent asked me how I knew about that place and how nice it was.
Kudos to pizza factory! It seriously was so clean and spot on. Oh, and my nephew put in an order 30 minutes later, and was able to pick up with no issue. How they did it? No idea.
My advice to people about this place, pick this place. Call ahead. And you’ll be just as happy as us from Valley Center were. Thanks again...
Read moreHorrible... The owner was by far RUDE.. Order pizza all the time from them and this will be my last. Never had a problem and clearly when I do they want to put blame on the customer. I know what I order and it was a simple large pep pizza said it would be here by 12:57 came at 1:23 when I get the pizza its the wrong pizza. Bread sticks are cold and so I called. I talk to the owner and she tells me I entered it in wrong and my fault and the online time is an estimate not a guarantee, she will sell me another pizza for half off. Ummm No your online ordering system messed up so its wrong on the time but right on the pizza I know I ordered?. She sat there to argue with me 5 minutes and then tells me she will send me another pizza out when she can she can guarantee when it will be there. Really? for being late and wrong pizza its whenever it will get here? Not good customer service but my money won't ever go here again. I am sure they won't miss it but I hope you all beware.. There is better pizza out here...
