I placed a call here to get some quotes on some lessons, there was a lady that had an accent who answered my call. I asked if they offered 1 class per month for guitar, to which she said they do and gave me the prices for it which sounded reasonable, I know that taking more classes will be a better deal however, at the time of my call I only had time for one class, I asked if can schedule a time to come in because I was interested in taking classes, this is where i was very offended by how disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional this lady was. She asked me "why do you only want to take one class? Can you not offord to take more classes, it kind of sounds like a waste of your time and ours" I was a bit taken off by that comment but I thought maybe she's "trying" to look out for my best interest, I told her that I work full time, and going to school, but am really interested in picking up the guitar for a hobby to help me unwind, and what she said this time really took me over the top, her reply was "judging by what you've told me, it doesnt sound like you're serious about the guitar and wouldn't actually practice, you don't sound dedicated enough". First and for most, what does it matter to you if "I" practice or not? If I pay for my lesson and dont practice, that's on me, your business has gotten paid , it's like being at a restaurant and ordering a burger and the waitress telling you "oh you dont seem hungry enough to eat a burger" , another thing, what if someone really cant afford to take 4 classes per month? If you offer 1 class and clearly state that you do, why would you turn away business? And lastly, who are you tell someone "you dont sound dedicated enough or serious about the guitar" or any musical instrument for that matter? I am now taking private lessons 5 times a month and am gladly shedding out my money, guess I was passionate enough. If you want to be treated disrespectfully, this is the...

I think this place is amazing! Russell Bizzett has been my drum instructor and mentor for almost three years. He is a very patient and kind man, and has drastically improved my drumming ability!
It seems there's a big difference in opinion between people who actually walk through the door and attend the academy, verses people surfing for the cheapest, do it at my leisure, what do you care if I practice or not, type of lessons. Did the other people who rated this place poorly, conveniently forget to mention that the instructors here have degrees from the London college of music and the Berklee school of music? I imagine that's why they expect a certain amount of reciprocity, if they invest their time in you.
This place has literally changed my life and my growth as a musician while giving me new opportunities in the community to play live. At least walk through the door and check the place out and take a few lessons before you rate a place 1 star and make derogatory statements about its instructors, please! If you want to have fun while learning properly, I promise you this...
Read moreI have been searching high and low for the absolute best Drum Instructor for my eldest child and I have to admit that Temecula Music Academy has one of the best, if not the best instructor in the business; His name is Blake. He knows how to have patience and use building blocks to get across otherwise difficult music theories.
We have also worked with the other instructors as well and all have been phenomenal!
My son went from knowing zero about music to keeping different time signature rhythms and is now apart of rock band shredding up the valley!
