Great customer service and a fun sensory setup,but not worth the price for what you get.

I’ll start with the positives: The staff were outstanding so friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

It’s always nice to see something new pop up for kids in the area, and The Bubble Planet adds another sensory activity option for families.

If you have a toddler under 2, they get in free, which is a plus. The space is clean, colorful, and the overall vibe is inviting. There’s also a cute feature at the end where kids can color a sea creature, like a fish or submarine, and watch it come to life on a wall display. It’s a fun interactive for younger kids.

There are plenty of sensory elements throughout: lights, colors, textures, music, and soft play objects. It’s visually stimulating.

I highly encourage anyone reading to check out all the reviews first including the 3-star ones. The 4- and 5-star reviews actually surprised me after the fact. I didn’t read reviews beforehand I just saw a sponsored ad, realized it was close by, and figured we’d give it a try. Sometimes that’s the best way to experience something new. Had I read more beforehand, I might still have tried it, because it’s rated around 4.5 overall. And I do believe everything is worth a try once, especially with kids. Everyone’s experience is different, and this is just mine as a parent of children under five.

The Bubble Plan is inside the mall, but parking and entry are tricky. You can’t enter directly through the closest side door, you have to walk through the movie theater section or diff wnterance. Not the easiest setup when you have little kids and strollers.

Admission is high—$27 per adult, slightly less for kids. It’s $24 certain days, kids under 2 are free. For just the two of us, the total was over $50 and to be honest, the experience didn’t reflect that price point.

There are about six rooms:

• Only one room with actual bubbles, and that one is at the very end. Yes, just one bubble walkway, which was disappointing given the name of the attraction.

And while parents are allowed in and can engage, it’s more museum-style than active play. You’re mostly watching your child interact with the environment not super hands-on for adults. Which brings up the price again: nearly $30 for a parent to accompany their child, just to supervise and walk through, is steep. Especially when you consider that the experience is primarily geared toward kids.

The space is beautiful and creative, but there’s very little substance. It’s missing an opportunity to tie in STEM or educational content, which could’ve made it both fun and enriching. For example: • How bubbles form • The role of water and evaporation • Surface tension and simple science • Bubble geometry and shape exploration • Build-your-own bubble stations • Fun science facts posted in each room

As it stands, it felt like whoever designed it didn’t consult with educators, parents, or early childhood specialists. It’s a collection of themed rooms with minimal context or learning,and it could’ve been so much more.

We were told we had 90 minutes, but the entire walkthrough lasted 30–40 minutes comfortably. There’s no re-entry, and the restroom wasn’t functioning inside the experience, so we had to exit and use the public mall restrooms.

Also, it’s 100% cashless, so come prepared to pay with card or mobile.

I’m glad we tried it, once. But I won’t go again.

If you’re considering a visit, especially with kids under 2, maybe try it once and bring everyone in your group to experience it together. there are so many other places nearby that offer a much richer, more interactive, and affordable experience for families, including:Idea Museum, Arizona Science Center, Children’s Museum of Phoenix, Lego Museum (same mall)

All of those offer more value, more engagement, and more learning opportunities for the same...

Let’s get down to the dirty truth about the Bubble Experience

I want you to try not to think about the money to fun ratio you’re about to spend. I know that’s really hard because when we purchase something a bit on the pricey side for a group activity we expect the world. If you can put this out of your mind you may have a really good time.

This place is Kid friendly Toddlers and your littles will absolutely love this experience. I took my 1 yr old niece and practically had to drag her out of the place. It’s also a great experience for teens who are seeking some IG worthy pictures

Speaking of pictures the lighting in each room is beyond terrible so if you’re looking to score those IG moments bring extra light that you can clip onto your phone or prepare to do some editing before posting.

Here are some pro tips: Take your time in each room- don’t feel obligated to rush to the next experience and take your time.

Bring wipes- sounds silly but at the end of this your shoes are super sticky and literally sticking to the carpet and it feels like quick sand so bring some wipes to clean them off.

The day I was there was hot. It was like the AC was barely on so add in the extra bodies and all the moving around and we got how real fast so bring a handheld fan and wear real deodorant.

🚨BRING SOCKS🚨 the bubble pit requires them and they have some for purchase but pack some socks. I know it’s summer right now and we all have a sandals on so here’s a pro tip to save you some money

The bubble pit is noooo joke. The balls are difficult to walk through and if you flop in prepare to struggle to get out. I say this because I saw plenty of people flog back for a photo op while holding small children and watched in horror as they struggled to get up while their kiddo sunk deeper and deeper into the ball pit and they then lost them amongst the cute bubbles

We were excited to try out the new bubble planet in Tempe. We were visiting family Surprise and took the drive over to enjoy it with our 4 younger boys and family. Upon arrival, we noticed that the staff was less than helpful. We wondered if there were any instructions we needed to know before going through as this was our first time, but they were unable to give us any information and said just go in.

The experience itself was exciting as it was fun to see what each room had to offer. They were all unique and mostly interactive, with a bubble theme throughout. The two most exciting rooms were the first big balloon room, and the large ball pit room. We believe that these two were worth the price of admission, but if they weren’t there, the rest of it is not quite as fun.

We did notice that one of the large balloon rooms had lots of dirt and human hair on many of the balloons, which was obviously gross. We are also curious how often this place is cleaned as many bodies are moving through the same items day and a day out.

Four out of eight of us chose to pay the additional five dollars for the VR room. It was a neat thing if you don’t have a lot of experience with VR goggles, however, it does make you feel a little bit woozy at the end.

Another unfortunate element of our experience was that we bought a $10 picture and its PRINT was extremely fuzzy. I asked the employee if he could do anything about it and he said that’s just how they are printed. I would definitely not purchase the picture if I were you.

Lastly, upon exiting, they are letting soap bubbles flow through the air and onto the floor, which is extremely sticky and your shoes get stuck and it’s hard to get the tackiness off your shoe for a while.

We are happy that we got to come experience something unique, but our group of eight agreed that it was a one time experience and that is enough for us. We will not...
