Worst. Service. Ever. Took the wife to a movie over at AZ Mills and we were a little early so we stopped in here for a bite. The sign said "Seat Yourself" so we did. About 5 minutes later we start wondering if it also meant serve yourself too. After that a group comes in and sits in the booth behind us and the waitress comes right out and not only helps them first but then goes about her business like we were invisible. So my wife goes up and asks for menus and such and is told that our server would be right out to help us...which she eventually was. We put in our drink orders and when she brought the drinks we were already ready as we had been there before and loved the food so we put in our food orders too. Shortly after she brings out the fries and we snack and converse as people do when they go out to eat. About 20 minutes later the food follows (from a different server, we never saw the first girl again) and we eat as much as we can in the short amount of time we have left before the movie. Since no one ever returned to the table we went to the counter to get to go boxes and the check. We get the boxes but we're told the server would be over to give us the check so we return to the table, box up the food and wait.....and wait....and wait. So we just grab the food and head up to the register. Finally someone comes up to the register, prints out the bill, takes my card, the usual. But when the guy behind the counter gives me the slip to sign, against my better judgement I still leave a tip because its hard for me not to because I too am in the service industry and I know that is what these guys live off of...I immediately regret my decision as no one returns to take the slip from me and put it in the register. One guy kept walking by us again like we were invisible and everyone else...idk...went home maybe? Even though it was mid afternoon everyone else I guess had better stuff to do. Even though the service this time was complete garbage the food was delicious as usual (even if it was a little greasy thats to be expected of a 50s style...
Read moreSearching for food near me and the name seem like a pretty cool place I needed to try, little did I know how pleased I would be with my choice. Great atmosphere 50’s theme with great employees serving some delicious food. My first time here so I went with there signature burger the”Original.” Sooo delicious, as their burgers are a single 1/4 lb. patty made of 100% fresh, never frozen certified angus beef, grilled to perfection and topped with lettuce, tomato, chopped onion, relish, pickles, mustard and mayo. It’s the relish and angus beef that made my taste buds 😋happy. For my side I had their sliced onion rings crunchy sourdough breadcrumbs, and they were 🤩fantastic!! Dessert was a peanut butter banana shake. Yeah it was yummy!! They have flavor shots for your sodas, unfortunately I didn’t try the soda’s with extra flavor shots. After dehydrating🍻🍹🥃 in the Arizona desert for a couple days while on vacation I felt water was a good choice. Yes even the water tasted good. 🤪😆😁 I glad t got the opportunity to taste what made Jonny Rockets famous and look forward to trying all the other yummy food the offer. Check them out if you get the opportunity and have a great time with...
Read moreOur server was excellent; a little over zealous, but very attentive. Food was good, but not special considering the higher pricing they asked for. An average burger costs you about $13+, fries $6, a shake $6, etc.. We just felt that was a little extravagant for a burger and fries from a fast food restaurant, but I must say, the shake was awesome! A little bit of happiness and joy before paying the high bill, if you know what I mean?? The decor was like being in a 1950's soda shop without the expensive vintage effects. It was a different experience, but not one I'd consider venturing to again for awhile. There are restrooms located towards the back, and the seating is limited so it's not necessarily a place to eat, unwind and chat for too long as you feel slightly pressured to move along to free up seats. I'm not saying it was a bad experience; just a costly one, which could set you back a pretty penny should you try to take the entire family out for a quick...
