I give this rating only because my friends were out getting money together to pay for another day and I had told them this and they (by they I mean) the very nice, well mannered ladies that worked in the front in the office they were very respectable and very understanding for certain situations that arose. However the reason why this two-star rating is like this one a lot of the time they're advertised price on motel6.com for the my six deal is roughly $69 you can pay cash or card here I have paid both cash comes with the $25 deposit for day today $100 for weekly, alternatively you can book your visit on their website without the deposit with free cancellation as well however I have done this numerous times so has everyone else that I've asked here that has stayed here I've had my mother or sisters or brother or even a friend sometimes pay for me online with their info and my name will be under the room who's staying while they're just paying for the room this was never such an issue until my most recent stay when I couldn't get money in time due to unforeseen expenses although my friends were on the way and I kept the office updated every 10 to 15 minutes by 12:00 p.m. a very rude gentleman and by rude I mean he's threatened to call the cops on me if we're not going to pay and we're not out by a certain time when I had told him that I had talked to the office already and had this discussion and they were okay with waiting for the time that I had told them since they were on the way back with the money but nonetheless he was very rude and disrespectful to me and never have I ever been treated such a way in a manner that he displayed to me like I was a child very disrespectful I don't know if he was a manager or not but he does not deserve to be one if he has this kind of attitude with his customers / guests. Now when my friends head arrived they went ahead to the office and I met them there and they had put the money on one of their cards was going to pay it for me now this time the front ladies at the office they refused and declined their offer of payment for my room that day just because they said they're not allowed to take payments if it's not in the room holder's name when clearly I've done this several times here before and I've explained this to them and I felt belittled and betrayed at that point I gathered up courage and told them you know what that's fine you can keep your nasty rooms we will find somewhere else to go it's not suitable for kids there's a bunch of drug addicts everywhere yes it is cheap but it's cheap for a reason there's cops daily in and out of that complex for multiple reasons but always seems to be that the office calls the cops on the tenants due to lack of payment or for some other for not reason but they end up finding more than what they bargained for when they come and learn that's the first time I came I did come back only due to of how cheap it was until it suddenly skyrocketed up to about $150 from Friday all the way to Tuesday due to some weekend thing going on they think they can increase the prices to obscene fairs that the average people can't really afford even people that are unemployment can really afford that a day and that's saying a lot and if you don't believe me, go see for yourself everything I said here. you will know it's true and you will be surprised for how dirty or how little they clean on some of these studio apartments that they rent out luckily the one that I received was fairly cleaned very good for once good luck on any future endeavors with this place or it...
Read moreWe stayed at Studio 6 Tempe as a last-minute stay on January 5, 2024. We didn’t inspect the room very thoroughly as we arrived late and needed to get our kids to bed, but God we wish we had! This hotel is AWFUL. If you value your health, your kids, or pets, please do NOT stay here. Upon further inspection of the room, we found there were cockroaches (Dead and alive), there were items left in the room from the previous people, the room had not been cleaned well, and there was a white powder throughout the kitchen and rest of the room. We were traveling with young children and sadly our 1-year-old was the one to find the white powder. We questioned the front desk staff manager, April, if they knew what the powder was as it was all over the kitchen and we were informed it is a pest control agent. We asked for any and all information on this since our son possibly ingested it. We were told they did not have a name for it and it was delivered by a man from Mexico as their pest control product for the hotel. She showed us how it comes and it was in a zip lock baggie with a plastic label taped onto it. It contained no name for the product, only two phone numbers; one denied knowing anything about it and the other never answered. We tried getting ahold of the General Manager, Laura, for the property, but she would not return our calls. We reached out to Poison Control, explained the situation, and were told to go to the nearest children’s hospital ASAP as our son became lethargic and was throwing up. We questioned the hotel multiple times after our initial visit to the front desk as it was important for Poison Control and the ER to know exactly what our son possibly ingested. Instead of any help from the hotel, our questions were left unanswered and we were told because the warning label says “Safe for use around people and pets,” it should have no effect and that’s why they spread it around the rooms as they do, however, they conveniently ignored the warning to keep away from children. We ended up having a 7-hour ER visit with no care from anyone at the hotel about the condition of our 1-year-old! Thank God he was okay, but this situation could have been so much more dangerous. It was pure hell witnessing our son go through what he had to endure at the hospital do to the neglect of this hotel. There is no reason to leave any chemical spread out around the room as it was especially one no one on your hotel staff knows anything about. Attached are photos of the powder in various spots, the items we found around the room, and the warning label on the pest control powder. We have reached out to the hotel multiple times since our stay and have yet to hear back. Each time we contact the corporate office, we are told we will be hearing back from the property owners, yet we never do. They did offer us a refund due to the condition of the room, but that doesn’t help with any of the medical bills or loss of time we occurred due to this. Highly recommend avoiding...
