BACKGROUND STORY: My wife and I just moved from one apartment to another. We hired movers and among the other things that were damaged, of course, my $1,100 65” Samsung Q60T QLED 4K flatscreen was one of them… completely broken and unwatchable.
REVIEW: My wife and I then tried finding another TV and started looking at ton of places. Thank God my wife’s Dad recommended The TV Outlet. It’s a store where you can get more than what you pay for (so it’s only natural that any human would love those type of offers). My wife’s Dad has bought 3 or 4 TV’s from this place and said he wouldn’t go anywhere else… and honestly… I have to agree with him.
Not only can you get a great TV for a low price, but the customer service was simple and great. Chance, the representative, is a great guy who is mindful of your price range and does NOT pressure you to buy anything at all. He gave us great facts about what to look for in a TV and each TV’s performance capabilities based off their different models/brands. He continuously reminded us that he didn’t want us to buy anything that was out of our budget range. Chance was very professional, respectful and overall very human.
So I left out a ton of stuff about Chance and the business that made our experience better than Google’s 5 out of 5 star limit but I would definitely recommend The TV Outlet as my #1 pick. I don’t know when I plan to get another TV but I’ll know where to go when I do.
To Chance, Much appreciated for your help dude! Even though you’re just just doing your job, thanks for making the experience a human one. Stay...
Read moreWe purchased a 65 inch LG Flat Screen TV two weeks ago, upon my uncles recommendation. We are extremely pleased with our experience. This outlet not only beat Costco's sale price but the transaction in my opinion was top notch. When you purchase a TV from this business they take the time to unbox the TV in front of you before you leave. They do this to ensure for all parties involved that you are receiving a perfectly working TV AND REMOTE, and that there is no damage or imperfections to the TV. The additional benefit to this process is that they cut the box at its base, then repackage TV with original packaging and secure it with two plastic straps that are machined sealed. As a result, when we arrived home, we were able to place the sealed box in the room we were mounting the TV, cut the plastic ties, remove the upper portion of box while leaving the TV securely in the base housing, proceed to attach the brackets and all connections and ultimately lift your new TV only the one time to mount it. They, also, took time to demonstrate how to handle the TV when moving it to minimize risk of damage. The owner and his right hands man were extremely knowledgeable...
Read moreWalked in and the owner--Greg, I believe--immediately chatted with me for 20 minutes about what was going on in the TV business and the pros and cons of the TV I had thought I had decided on. He was a bigger fan of the LG CX, but in fact his extensive knowledge on both products ended up reinforcing my earlier decision and making me more confident in it. Not pushy at all, happy to sell me anything. He also personally helped me load it into my small car.
It was also the only place that still had last year's Samsung model, not only at a lower cost than the current model but a lower cost than the big box stores were selling it during the unloading period while introducing the newer model.
He was the only one working at the time, so you may have a bit of trouble getting ahold of him. That's why I ended up going in person, but ultimately that was well worth it.
NOTE: As the owner explained to me, "Renewed" means a variety of things, but here it is primarily models that big box stores end up unwilling to sell, and that usually means a customer cancelled the order after it already shipped. My model was indistinguishable from new, though that can...
