It is conveniently located off 1-10, close to Costco and IKEA in Tempe. It offers a variety of games, gravity ropes, laser tags and "modern bowling". We have a 3-hours time card for the games and participated in the laser tag game. It also has restaurants that provide food and beverages. Basically, you could spend a good whole day over there exhausted. They had many things to offer and it was hard to pick where to start. So I would describe what we did there as an example. On Sunday, we went there at 10 am (open time) to attend a kid's birthday party and the restaurant staff already have the table prepared. They offered hamburgers, french fries, and fruit cups for each one in our group. Later on we added oven-baked pizza and chicken wings. The kids then went to laser tag together after the meal and birthday cake. I did not go in but according to the feedback it was fun. Each of us was offered a 3 hours time card to play with the machines, thanks to the host. I am not a big fan of the gaming machines, they were very loud and caused my headache, lol. Our 7-year-old was really enjoying the gaming machine. However, our 3-year-old started to act up and became cranky not long after, and it was terrible. My advice: If you would bring kids younger than 3 years old, please please bring a comfy blanket with a stroller or wagon where they could fall asleep. I personally would never ever bring any kids under 1 year over there. Hope they could turn down the volume of the background music but maybe it would never gonna happen since psychologically, loud music would potentially encourage ppl to get in and out of the eating place more quickly. All in all, it's a good place for family and friends to get together for birthdays and have fun. This is a very NOISY place so be aware if you prefer quietness. Not ideal for small kiddos. Food is average, nothing special. Service was ok, but since there were so many people and was so crowded, do not expect the servers would treat you like VIP. Prepare to do more legwork by yourself.

Came here last night with a group of 7 adults and 5 kids and had such a terrible experience from start to end. It was not too busy at 6pm and it took more than 10 minutes for anyone to come by the table. We had to grab a manager to ask for service, as employees stood around with hands on their hips while chatting with off duty staff. I ordered a bottled beer that was sitting at the bar for more than 20 minutes and had to ask the serve to bring it over, after talking to the manager AGAIN, to request a new server since we were moving to the bowling alley. Explained that the hospitality and service was below standard, delayed and not off to a good start. I ordered wings and fries around 6:05, they never came. The kids food came out at the alley and there was no mention of who’s food was who’s or what the item was, just dropped off without any communication, without utensils, plates, or silverware. They left the food tray at our table and made a fuss about our request for plate ware. The bowling pins and machine got stuck after the first bowl and we sat for 30 minutes for them to fix it. While fixing it, we decided to play arcade games - to find out half of the machines were broken and still taking money from the game charge card, mentioned it to staff walking by and she said she already knew of the problem and couldn’t put a sign up to alleviate the issue for others to experience. She mentioned going to the counter to get a refund and ignored the problem and recommendation to provide better service. Spoke to another manager to provide feedback and he truly did not care either. Went back to the alley to find out the same lane was not accounting for knocked down pins and requested to rectify the issue.. beyond shocked that the manager didn’t move us previously, but offered to move the group after 6 issues, to then be sat next to a completely dirty table and our previous game with 25 minutes deducted since we waited around to wait. The manager then took over our section, and she did the best she could, but the amount of service issues, lack of communication, and training opportunities was beyond disappointing. The printer ink on the bill was barely legible and the manager said she couldn’t do anything about it. I shared feedback with professional recommendations as I work in hospitality leadership, and I will never return to this establishment due to the poor quality and poor customer service! Btw, I never received my wings ordered at 6:05p, we left at 9p.

For my first time being here... it's what should be expected.. the games, the bowling and the food and the prices were reasonable for this establishment. The reason I gave it two stars is because if you buy one of the wristbands for $25, that includes unlimited bowling, pool, laser tag and I think they called it a Sky rope. If you want to bowl on top of your $25 you have to rent shoes which they clearly mark. What they don't tell you is that...you have the bowling lane for an hour, they kick you off the lane after an hour and you go on to a waiting list!! I know and can understand that .. everybody should get a chance , I feel and that's why I want to tell everybody that comes to this establishment to beware . On a Saturday night you might pay for a full wristband that's more expensive than just buying the lane for an hour . Cuz it gets so busy , they might not have.. " all you can bowl"..............Just beware while you're bowling, my server Connor was very nice and professional but he was very much a helicopter. After our hour was up he came five times and asked me, do I want to cash out? I very politely told him can you please hold on and he told me that I need to move to make the lane available ( which nobody came because they were making room for the bowlers after 5:00 p.m. , mind you it was already past 6:30 .. ) in other words I had plenty of time to move .....He was very firm and told me my family can sit outside the lane. Which I thought was rude. He took my order and a guy named Trevor brought us our food and basically through it on our table! He looked like he didn't want to be there and didn't give two sh!ts about the customer. I'm pretty sure this is a great place to have a party and to have fun. The owners of this place made it the best place to have fun for kids and adults.. those two staff members is the reason I will NEVER come back to this establishment. It was our first time there and these two gentlemen made me very uncomfortable in front of my grandson and my family. Shout out to the girls that we're at the front counter when you first come in, they were very friendly professional and very courteous. And very professional if you have questions or concerns if it's your first time there. This is just my experience I would never want you or whoever read this not to go there. If you get mistreated. Please let me know and maybe management are the owners will change it.

Our first time. ... the ambiance was good and clean. ... Due to our experience getting bump off in the bowling waiting list. I should give it 2 stars. And the round beeper for waiting of the billiards play never got a chance to beep/play. ... extremely disappointed on the service. ... they looks great but vicious. Service feels was terrible. .... due to don't know what. ... Anywez, just glad my pre teens enjoy there day. ... Food was average better and super gelato was yummy. ... The pricing The so called unlimited play only applies if you go there early and have a lot of time. ... the $24+ plus fine print additional rent for the ugly bowling shoes $ 5 plus tax and tip. ... per person . ... Our 9hrs the boys only got to play 1 gravity, 1 bowling and 2 lazer. ... the rest of the time is extremely long wait. ... it will comprised of 45 mins to 3hrs of wait. ... the billiards play we got the beeper told us only 20 mins wait but it never beep we just gave it up. ...the wait was almost 4hrs or more. we just went home not play it anymore. ...For the arcade is $1.65 per play per person. ... the loading card for the arcade, since its our first time will be $25 plus $2 fee and plus tax. ...every load will charge you for $2 and plus tax. ... so the price here is extremely fancy elite. ... same goes for the food and not to mention soda and water. ... The feel of this place is for teens, dating, college students, young professionals. ... wouldn't recommend it for family with young children. ... But since my son's and his friends have fun aside from extremely waiting. ... that's enough for one more star . ...

My arm was hurt by a nail on the barrel in the laser tag area. There are two barrels that should be stacked together, but unfortunately the upper barrel was not properly stacked and the nails in between the barrels are right toward me. When I was playing and squatting down, the nail pierce my left arm. My friends and I immediately talked to the staff and manager later. We checked the site with the staff and the staff agree it’s their fault not searching the site before the start of the game. We asked for the first aid set but unfortunately the only thing we get initially is a small piece of antiseptic towelette from the manager. We expressed we need a full set of first aid, and get the full set of first aid until we insisted our need of a complete first aid treatment. We are shocked and unsatisfied by what’s provided initially by the manger (John). This place needs to improve its safety inspection and treatment toward customers getting hurt within the facility including showing a positive and emphatic attitude. We also experienced a shut down of the bowling line 8 when we are playing. We called for staff to fix and it takes around 15 minutes to fix. We have been here couple times before and they all went smooth and we had a good time, but not this time. In addition, it’s sad that they don’t provide a safe place for customers to play today. Just watch out yourself, your family and your friends come with you to this place.

Wow. Where to start on how bad the service and experience is at Main Event. First, It’s really loud to the point that the music, undistinguishable, is just echoing as screeching through the rafters and through your ears. Second, the beers were flat and warm. Third, they don’t tell you when you purchase the gravity ride that there is a time to go. So we headed over to the other desk and they told us it would be an hour wait. We already purchased bowling for an hour. Don’t purchase this if you are leaving soon or are planning to bowl. Fourth, we purchased an hour of bowling for 2 adults 3 kids with the intent of extending since we wanted to eat. We ordered food which took about 45 min to get to us. Then the timer stopped and we tried to extend an hour. They told us they already sold the next hour. I said why and what are you going to do kick us out while we are still eating? I want to pay for another hour I told them. They said they can’t do that. Meanwhile there were several open lanes even the one right next to us. By the time we finished eating and packed up another 30 min went by. When we were leaving the Main Event we notice that the lane was still unoccupied so an entire hour went by with no one there. They even have a sign that rotates on the lane asking us to Stay! Poor management, awful experience, flat warm beer. Don’t recommend going here.
