We live close so sometimes we run to this market to pick up 1-2 things rather than heading to Ralph’s. Their prices on produce are beyond compare to that of chain supermarkets. My kids LOVE to check out the live fish tanks and to see what other animals might be available. Perk: I make my kids practice their Mandarin and they do ALL the talking while we are there! At first they were shy, but now they like the attention they get because you wouldn’t expect my girls with blue eyes and chestnut brown eyes and wavy long hair and deep golden tanned skin from summers in Palm Springs and Long Beach to know as much conversational Mandarin as they do. She refused to take it so I told her I'd be right back with some change. When I went back in with a small change pouch. I dug out .70 cts. 2 quarters and 2 Dimes. She took the 60cts and litterly TOSSED the other dime at me., demanding exact change and pulled back the sprouts.
