Louisiana Fried Chicken — Restaurant in El Monte

Have you ever wanted fried chicken and Chinese food but couldn’t make up your mind? Well this is the spot for you.

Not sure if I just just came at a good time or I ordered the right items, but we enjoyed every part of our meal. Ordered the 3 piece fried chicken with cole slaw and a 3 item Chinese combo with teriyaki chicken, bbq pork, spicy pork ribs, rice and chow mein. To start, the fried chicken was fresh and delicious. The batter had a little kick living up to the Louisiana name. The cole slaw and bread were pretty basic and needed a little work, but really wasn’t the star of the meal anyway. As for the Chinese dishes, for a fast food restaurant the food was good to really good. I guess one thing anyone should do when ordering from a steam table is look for fresher dishes when ordering. If it looks old, dry or over cooked avoid it and try something else. Fortunately everything I liked looked like it was recently refreshed in the steam table. The ribs were the stand out, but i liked the bbq pork as well. The rice and noodles were tasty too, but the chow mein was a bit on the oily side. Not a big issue if you mix with rice or have...

Be aware of this place there chicken is nasty iam sure they have there chicken for days went you buy there chicken is more like eating something than is been cooking years ago look black come on people you wouldn't eat that the owner be responsible of what you providing to your customers..and you know exactly who iam .the person who you guys give two pieces of that nasty chicken not even my dog will eat that your Chinese food...

I was looking for a new Chinese fast food place. I was worried about the dishes not being fresh. After looking for some reviews, I found this place. I decided to give it try.

Staff was friendly. Menu was pretty clear. The dishes looked good and appetizing. I got the 3 items combo. All tasted good and fresh. I'm happy with the quality which is really important to me.
