If I could give this place a lower rating, I would. My mom, who is on social security, bought a washer and dryer set from vendor 768. She paid Steve to deliver it to her house. He delivered it later that night after they closed and me and my sister hooked it up for her. After not having a working washer in over a month my mom was really excited to do some laundry considering she was pretty much out of clothes and didn't have the money or transportation to run to the laundry mat. We put a load of clothes in only to discover the washer didn't agitate. So after calling Trader Bucks every day for 4 days and getting the run around including a number to the vendor directly that wasn't the correct number, I decided to go into the store where I was told that they could exchange it but could not give a refund. We ended up paying another $50 for Steve to deliver the new washer and haul away the one that didn't work (even though on the wall of the booth it states that the machines are tested and work to the manufacturers specs) and we get the new one set up....only to have it flood the floor in the laundry room and pour through the vent into the heating system and straight through the floor to the basement and flood the basement. So I called Jims Washers and he came out to look at the washer. Turns out the transmission is out on the washer due to it flooding prior to my mom's purchase of it. So when I go into Trader Bucks today with a written statement from Jim I'm still told there isn't anythang they can do about it except get ahold of Steve to have him deliver another washer from the same booth. I understand that they have nothing to do with the products that are sold on the booths but at some point Trader Bucks have to care about their customers. If there was a guarantee written on the wall that the products work and they don't work, how about giving a loyal customer.. or any customer for that matter, a refund out of the money the vendor has made for that week. It's been less than a week since my mom purchased the washer and dryer. The washer has been replaced by a worse washer. Her clothes are still unwashed. Her floor is ruined. The heat system is messed up. The washer/dryer set originally cost $359. She ended up paying $530 for everything excluding the floor and heat being fixed but she's out more than just that. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted with an establishment like I am with this one. We will NEVER be going...
Read moreI visited this place yesterday for the first time. I was a little disappointed in my visit and do not plan on going back.
To begin, it was very unsettling to see buckets of food in one of their vendor's booths pretty close to the front of the store. Looking through the food, I was shocked to see that it was all expired. This was baffling as it seems that it would be illegal to sell food past the expiration date and could possibly even make people sick. People would not know this if they did not look at the date either since no where did it mention that they were past the date. It seemed that it was an attempt to trick people into a good deal that was actually expired food which could make them sick.
Another unsettling thing was that there was a "modded" xbox in one of their glass cases. They must not be aware that not only is it illegal to mod gaming consoles (especially when it involves installing a harddrive with thousands of games) but it is also HIGHLY illegal to resell a modded console. I can't believe they are allowing illegal activity to go on in their store.
While one sales associate seemed nice asking how we were doing as we looked through records in their back corner, the rest seemed rude and offered rude stares rather than attempting to provide decent customer service through greetings or anything like that. One woman was talking about customers stealing as we walked out empty-handed. I wondered if she was trying to accuse us but did not say anything. We did not purchase anything and chose not to because of the unsettling activities being allowed to happen within the business.
After seeing some of the other awful reviews and the other terrible experiences, I am happy that I made the decision not to come back...
Read moreLiterally the worst customer service I’ve ever received. The stares you get when you walk in are so unwelcoming and rude. Bought a desk and a table there today. Went up to the counter/cashier to buy them and he was not good at his job whatsoever. He acted as if he was “too cool” to take his job seriously. I ask him if someone can help me, my motherinlaw, and my elderly fatherinlaw (who’s 83, & just had heart surgery) load up the furniture into the car and he says “oh we can’t help with that”, okay that may be your policy but do you have human nature?? oh and can’t forget when my bag busted on the ground and he blatantly watches it happen without offering to get me and new one or help me pick up my items that I just bought. Maybe I have no room to be bitching about this but geez. GET IT TOGETHER. Can’t get much more disorganized and...
