I started walking through this cemetery after the loss of my baby. On one of those early mornings, when my heart was heavy and I couldn’t stop crying, I came across Kyle, one of the staff members. He was simply doing his work—cleaning up the grounds—but when he saw me, he paused, smiled gently, and said “hi.”

It might seem like a small moment, but that simple gesture shifted something in me. His kindness, his calm presence, and the warmth in his smile brought me a sense of peace I didn’t know I needed. From that day on, this place became more than just a cemetery—it became a place of healing. And Kyle played a part in that.

It is with sincere regret that I am compelled to post this review. My husband’s gravesite was disturbed on April 14 when the site next to his was open for burial. The personal items from his gravesite were scattered on the ground including the American flag, solar lights, and plants to name a few. My husband passed in August of 2022 and unfortunately this is the second occurrence. I am deeply upset by the lack of respect for personal items especially the American flag. After last June’s initial complaint I would’ve thought the items would be stored in the office or been called to pick them up. The cemetery did reach out to me to say as a courtesy they will replace the sod. This had not been completed yet. This is the only cemetery I feel at peace knowing my loved ones rest here. They keep the grounds clean and spotless. Any time you have a request they complete the task happily, quickly, and call you to let you know they’ve done it. The staff is professional and kind any time we’ve had to speak with someone. My only recommendation is that they go back to locking the gates at night. Thank you to the staff of St. Joseph’s as this is the best cemetery...
