Friendly people, clean store, amazing frozen yogurt. A bit pricy compared to other options.

Only real complaint is the default payment system asks for 15%, 20%, or 25% tip. 20% on $50 is $10. I realize the employees are doing a lot of work refilling machines and topping bins and keeping the store clean so I don’t want to sound insensitive. They deserve to get paid well.

20% is way too much for a serve yourself and pay at the counter experience. My advice to the store owner? Change your default tip options to be more appropriate for the experience.

A server at a restaurant would be lucky to get a 20% tip. They take your order at your table, bring you drinks, food, condiments, refill your drinks, check on you several times and then share their tips with the busser that cleans your table at the end of the night.

20% at Menchies is a hard pill to swallow.

And let’s be honest. People by enlarge feel uncomfortable clicking the custom tip option and tipping less than one of the default options. It takes more time and it’s clear to the person at the counter that you’re going through that process.

The responsible thing to do would be to lower the default tip options to no tip, 10%, and 15%. Or something along...

Always love some menchies, but one problem I have is, I came in a few days ago and the girl behind the counter looked at my receipt to see if I added a tip and had an attitude when she noticed I did not add a tip. Tip for what? You didn't do anything for me, you didn't get my cup, fill it up, put the extras in it, all you did was ring me up and hand me a spoon and my receipt. You get paid an hourly wage to do the job you were hired to do and one of them is not "waiting" on me like you would at applebees, chili's, etc.. No need for the attitude, dont like it find...

tip scam. default payment automatically includes tip. bad enough they even ask for a tip - it’s self serve! i get the cup, i get my own froyo, i get my toppings, i put it on the scale. i’m basically tipping them for ringing up my order. what makes it worse is that i have to back out of payment screen and remove tip amount. tipping culture is nuts and this is yet...
