If I could give this place negative stars I would. I am renting six tux's for my wedding from this wretched place. I went in to get sized and put deposits down for all my tux's in January for my wedding in June. All my groomsman had their sizes done by March. Why am I just getting all my suits in less than a week before my wedding? And no friends, it does not end here. Upon receiving MY tux I was completely ignored after given my suit to try on to make sure everything fit properly, for them to go help another customer. I asked several employees standing around if I could get someone else's help which was not acknowledged in the slightest. Throughout the beginning of the week, my groomsman started reporting to me they were picking up their tux's around Wednesday and Thursday and told me everything fit okay. I figured, "alright.... great! Crisis is averted. At least they came in before the wedding day and it can be crossed off the list." Being men, they just assumed everything given to them were the right colors and designs for what was to be worn. Come to find out nobody had the right color ties even the fathers of the bride and groom. Zero for six is a bad ratio I would assume for a store that has one job to do, get everyone looking good for their big day. We proceed to the store to correct the problem and they inform us it won't be in until SATURDAY MORNING...THE DAY OF THE WEDDING.... less than an hour before pictures are to be taken with everybody. I understand people make mistakes and it should be a simple fix. What I do not understand is tuxedos measured months before the wedding day coming in days before the big day and they have no effective way of fixing problems and produce the phrase "their isn't much we can do in such a short time." Then why is everything coming in so late? Do you not rent, sell, size, everything expected of a formal attire store for a living? Explain to me how this became such a big problem. We understand this is just a tie but it is the principal of it. We are not people that complain but when it comes to spending nearly $2000, we want what we pay for! This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous and should not have been a problem...
Read moreWas not happy. We came to get a suit for my son for a funeral. We live 1 hour away, my son was unable to come so we thought we would try to ball park it. We were told by more than 1 associate that we could measure ourselves and call up there and they could do the transaction over the phone. Not true, we called with the measurements and they told us no basically. That he would need to come up there to do it. Again we live 1 hour away one way! While in the store associates were complaining about dealing with “prom” moms. “Highly unprofessional”, also heard another customer making a comment about our situation and the associate making comments back too. If you’re going to talk about someone at least make sure they are not in ear shot. So my husband took out son out of school, so we could get him fitted. He also works and this was our only opportunity to drive out of our way again to get this done. The same associate that said we could call back with the measurements then denied saying that to us. I feel like we were lied too and deceived because they didn’t want to deal with us who were probably labeled as “Karen’s” after we left. I do not recommend even if you are in a desperate situation like getting a suit...
Read moreMy family has been to the Topeka location on several occasions, once to prepare for a funeral and most recently for a wedding. We have two boys who are at an age where the options are slim due to their size. The staff helped us get suited for the funeral and did all they could for us in the window of time that we had to work with, and we were very satisfied. Most recently, we worked with Keegan, who again fitted myself and my two boys. We took the suits with us we had previously purchased for the funeral, and we knew we were going to need alterations and a few new pieces as my boys have grown since our previous visit. Keegan was professional and was attentive to our needs. We had a few issues that were out of his control, but Keegan went above and beyond to get everything right for us. The wedding we are attending will be in France and we had limited time to get what we needed before the trip. Keegan was outstanding in his service and investment in ensuring that if there was one thing we didn't have to worry about for our trip, it was that we would at least have the perfect attire for the wedding.
