Overall yes if I had to I'd stay again. It wasn't my first choice but the others were full. When we arrived the Karen male manager from Hampton Inn across the lot came charging over huffing and puffing to tell us trailers would be better behind the hotel. Guy calm down, we just pulled into get a view of the place before even putting it into park goodness gracious. He didn't even work in the hotel where we were staying nor the parking lot we were in! We arrived and the digital key system has a lot of bugs and was frustrating to use. Had to go back to the desk a couple of times plus then our two keys stopped working. The cleaning crew does a great job keeping the entire hotel clean other than some stains in the hallways and dust on the door. It was really clean other wise. This hotel likes to cut corners on supplies, no extra paper towels, no lotion, no shower gel. They did have a bar of soap for you hands, which is gross but no liquid hand soap like the other hiltons supply. One thing all hotels need to STOP doing is putting dish washing cleaner under the sink. It's a hazard to children and babies. It will end up getting one killed. Online reservation was easy. We used our military discount and they checked the ID once we got in. Over all it was a bit over priced for the location being so far from the main town, and lack of walkability plus the breakfast was bland and the kitchen staff definitely cut corners there as well. The kitchen doesn't like to supply much especially for the coffee bar. Nothing is really stocked for the convince store part of the lobby and THEY DONT KEEP THE WATER COLD FOR THE GUESTS.!!! That was really rude. They keep the guest waters behind the counter at check in and hand them to people....all the other hilton hotels keep them in the fridge and you can get them at your own convenience. Manager needs a lesson in customer service I guess. Considering when I walked out after returning the luggage trolley the manager didn't say a word to me any way.. Not a thank you or have a nice day ... Yea I'd say they need a few lessons. The game room is in dire need of more games, not a even a bored game in site. The pool table is ripped up and the rack is broke with duck tape on it. The pool sticks are broke. The only piece of chalk was crumbling. The air hockey table is junk. See photos. The Parkman machine works but older and the joystick shows that. This was the only hilton I've ever been in that actually had on its electric fire place in the lobby. So that was a nice change. Over all the best part was the house keeping. At least...

I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites in Topeka, and I am thrilled to share my experience. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations on all fronts, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.
First and foremost, the rooms are incredibly spacious and well-designed, offering a wonderful sense of comfort and functionality. The layout provides plenty of room to move around, and the addition of a full kitchenette is a thoughtful touch for extended stays or those who prefer home-cooked meals. It felt more like a cozy apartment than a typical hotel room.
The amenities are equally impressive. I particularly enjoyed the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long day. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall relaxing vibe of the property. The fitness center was also well-equipped, ensuring I could keep up with my workout routine during my stay.
Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here, as every corner of the hotel—rooms, hallways, and common areas—was spotless. It’s evident that the staff takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment for their guests.
Speaking of the staff, they were truly a highlight of my visit. From the moment I checked in to the day I departed, everyone I interacted with was incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional. They were always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was answering questions, providing recommendations, or addressing any needs I had during my stay.
In conclusion, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Topeka offers an outstanding combination of comfort, amenities, and exceptional service. If you’re looking for a hotel in Topeka that goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, this is the place to be. Highly...
Read moreI am a huge fan of Hilton Properties. My parents are Hilton Honors members, and Time-Share owners through Hilton. I was traveling just me and my 3 little kids. My parents had booked a room for us under their Hilton Honors points. They had given my full name and had me added as a guest with the request to have all incindentals and anything extra be put on their credit card on file. Needless to say, an error on Hilton’s end caused almost an hour being able to get a room. The front desk help was sweet, and the situation was NOT her fault, but the manager was cocky, and rude. Quote from me, “we can take our business elsewhere, timeshare included, if it’s this difficult to have a guest stay even with an ID verifying them. I’ve never ever had this issue at any other Hilton Propery.” Manager (on the phone I’ll add)- “ I don’t appreciate being told that. I’m usually willing to help but not if that’s what your going to say.” I was forced to back down and apologize, which I did twice, because I have 3 little little kids. It was late, rainy, and not safe to keep traveling. I ended up being able after an hour to put incidentals on an old debit card, but this was alll because Hilton put me in as a guest on the comment instead of an actual guest. According to them. My comment was direct, because yes, if we would have had to go elsewhere at almost 10 PM with 3 little kids in horrible weather conditions, my parents 100% agree Hilton would have lost their business. The walls are paper thin, like you can hear the WHOLE conversation next door. So disappointed Hilton put me in this situation while traveling with my 3...
