The Chuck Wagon was is really delightful! It was jamp packed with all the good that you may need before or after a long day in Capitol Reef National Park! It is on the main street in Torrey, you cannot miss it. It is a quaint little general store that has a grocery section, deli, general store and lodgings out to the rear of the business. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. They were full of questions since we were tourists from Ireland. The store has a large selection of all sorts of necessary items that campers and travellers! They had the usual food items and there was medicine sction for non perscription medicines. The deli is located to the rear of the store and from what we heard the sandwiches are highly recommended. The deli was closed unfortunatly however we did managed to pick up some freshly baked bread and along with another few esentials that we required to make sandwiches. There were some old photos from down through the years hanging up around the store giving you a glimpse of the stores history and association with the town of Torrey and the local people. I highly recommend stoping by and getting some supplies from the Chuck Wagon...
