TL;DR: Go here, it's the greatest.

Extended Cut: Where to even begin?! The staff left the biggest impression, so I'll start there. The two working there when I visited were the kindest and easiest going baristas I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Having never been to the town, the impression left by these two was enough to make me want to live there and that alone shows what great service they have! The establishment itself is extremely organized and clean, the drive thru is nicely set up. The one and only small gripe that I have is when driving through the town, spotting the shack is easy enough but figuring out what it was was a bit tougher. The sign needs to be more eye-catching as it took me the entire length of the lot to read it and I had to flip around to go back to it, which also meant I was driving distracted and shame on me for doing so. The sign itself is professionally done and is pleasing to look at, just needs to express what the establishment is... Now that we had a positive and a negative, let's finish off the a positive! The coffee and the chai tea latte was fantastic, the espresso is smooth and rich, and the chai was authentic and creamy. I have no doubt that everything crafted here is crafted with a great attention to detail assuring the highest quality product possible, which is even more impressive given the large quantity of products. Supreme kudos to the establishment and everyone who...

We stopped at this coffee shop on our way from Capitol Reef out to Escalante Monument, I had the black & white mocha and my mom had a root beer. We told the owners about our trip, how we were going down to Bryce and then heading up to Salt Lake City to pick some broken men and their broken bikes after they got chewed up and spit out by the Trans American Trail. Bryce was beautiful, and the drive down Highway 12 was a highlight of our whole trip, it was really spectacular. Here are the motorcycles! We retrieved my dad with his badly sprained ankle, his mostly intact bike, and his friend's wrecked bike. We hung around Salt Lake, went out to the Bonneville salt flats, Antelope Island, and some other neat places. I flew out of SLC and my mom drove the Jeep back to SC (Dad couldn't drive because stick shift is too hard with a sprained left ankle). So glad we stopped at this coffee shop on our journey, just wanted to give you guys...

We came through Torrey on our way to calf creek for the weekend. Couldn’t be more pleased with the experience we had at dark sky coffee. The owners are great to talk to and have great recommendations for the area to hike, bike, camp, and swim. I had the frozen raspberry chai which made my day. My wife had the iced latte, to which she said to the owners “I go everyday to a certain multi chain coffee place, and now everytime I go, all I’ll be thinking about is my drink from your place, wishing I lived here to have it everyday”. We made sure to stop in again on our way out. Their ice cream is amazingly creamy. And the danishes are tasty, flakey, amazing-ness. We absolutely recommend adding this place as one of your stops on your amazing southern...

Incredibly cute place right outside of Capitol Reef NP. We got just after 8 AM - there were 3-4 cars in front of us. It took about 20 minutes to get through the line - which is a little longer than we hoped, but wasn't terrible either. We had the house coffee - which was decent. Breakfast burritos were only ok - the texture between the egg and sausage just meshed together in a blob. All in all, a great stop, but could use some tweaks. They are only open a few days a week - so be sure to check their FB page for latest info and offerings.

We were here two years ago, and the coffee was so good. We went back the very next day. Actually scheduled our trip to capital reef to coincide with the days that they were open.🤣🤣 their espresso is so crisp and clean with no bitterness or aftertaste. Their Americanos are delicious. If you really want a special treat the dark sky Frappe’ is the delight to the mouth!!! The owner, her husband, and daughter are all so friendly and helpful. This place is a must stop, we go out of our way to come each time we’re in Utah.
