Had a California Burrito with Chicken. As a San Diegan, it’s a staple in my diet at home. This was not a CA Burt. You added refried beans, left out sour cream. Technically you included guac, but it was a tiny amount, like a tablespoon. Pico doesn’t go inside CA Burts. It makes them soggy. Rather, you’re supposed to generously dump salsa on with every bite. But the amount of salsa you provide is the smallest possible commercial container available. Another thing- French fries are supposed to be inside the burrito, not dumped on the side. We came later in the day on a holiday so they were out of a few things like ketchup (for my fries), my husband got ketchup in his. They were also out of carne asada. I got the carnitas California burrito and it had good flavor but I felt like they added too many fries in it. The staff were nice and courteous. This was a good spot and the food is really good. The charro torta killed it though!...

The shredded pork had been browned up so you got crunchy bits and the guy doesn’t try to Americanize it with cheese and sour cream, etc. Just a solid proper Mexican taco. The green sauce didn’t have much heat, which I missed, but I assume they know their customer palette.
The tacos aren’t cheap for a taco truck. But the price was par for the area. And I have to say that it was pretty loaded with meat.
