Not exactly sure what to say about this place. I mean if you’re wanting to just throw away your hard earned money and time, than this is the place to do it. And if you want absolutely everything you order to come out wrong, then by all means have at it. The food is ok, but extremely overpriced for what you get. We ordered fairly simple items and they still came out wrong and had to be sent back. And then, when correcting the order, the kitchen decided to either be snarky or possibly over cautious when removing the onions from everything, which should not have even come out with them in the first place. And when we say that, it’s bc we said no actual onions on our food, not no guacamole. We know onions are usually in it, but they are not noticeable and we really like guacamole. Tiny raw onions were on our nachos and not easy to pic off (and were asked to NOT be put on) and then the grilled onions were asked to NOT be on our “Philly” steak sandwich, but that request was neglected as well. BOTH items came with guacamole and had guacamole on them when they first came out AND we ordered them knowing and expecting that. So when our orders came back with none on them, we asked why it was missing. And the server said, well it has onions in it. Hmmm, just maybe you should have asked us about that decision instead of deciding for us?? Also the philly meat tasted like it was cooked in jalapeño juice and was ridiculously hot, which was not stated in the menu description. Maybe they should let people know this. And then we were charged for a “big” salad that was on the menu, when we specifically asked if we could order a second side salad, along with the one that came with our meal. But then only one plate of a “big” (laughable) salad came out, but not the side salad that we were supposed to get?? We paid $60 for this ridiculous meal and didn’t even order meals for two people. Definitely won’t go back again and don’t recommend that others even bother with this place. We like to try and leave good reviews, especially for small town businesses, but we can’t in good conscience do that for this particular place, so eat here at...

Husband and I needed cold drinks, good food, and a casual atmosphere when coming directly from the hiking trails of Capitol Reef. This place was perfect on all three counts.

The meticulously clean cafe had a 50's vibe with checkered table coverings, booths, and a huge, gorgeous jukebox. Plaques with fun and inspirational quotes covered the walls. The fountain drinks are a serve yourself arrangement with plenty of ice and a large variety of options. Bonus for me-- the iced tea was good (Gold Peak, I think?) and they had both sweetened and unsweetened, so I could mix to taste. We ordered the large 4 meat pizza, which was big enough to feed both of us with some to take home (leftover pizza is the best!). The toppings were generous and really fresh. And the crust was one of the best I've ever had-- slightly crispy, slightly chewy, and FLAVORFUL. No sad little crust remnants littering our plates when we were done! Our server told us they make their crust in-house, and I believe it. Service was quick and courteous. Our friendly server checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. A side note: in an epic klutz moment I managed to dump an entire LARGE iced tea (cup sweat is my bane). I was mortified. Our server ran to my rescue with a mop and gracious assurances that it was not a big...

Worst chicken wrap I’ve ever had in my life.

Edit: since the owner wants to be sassy.

Honestly this place is horrible. Do not waste your time or money here.

The food was inedible, soggy, gross, consisting of flavorless ingredients thrown together; I barely ate any of it because it was so bad and promptly left.

As for the people I “yelled at” I’m assuming these people are related to you in some fashion - they were blasting tik-tok videos at full volume. No one wants to hear that in a sit down restaurant, let alone one where I paid $30 for the worst meal of my life.

I tried to get their attention multiple times and they just ignored me, so it escalated into me having to speak rather loudly to these rude people. They had absolutely no manners or respect for the other patrons.

Server was nice though….

Double edit: Saw a picture of the staff here, guy that I spoke loudly to appears to work here….maybe you should learn some manners yourself on etiquette in public spaces especially ones you operate from…. but go ahead and attack folks for giving honest reviews and placing yourselves of as the victim for your staffs awful inconsiderate...

My solo dining experience at Rock Reef Cafe was nothing short of wonderful. The food was exceptional. The Bison burger was perfectly prepared. The quality of the ingredients shone through. Every bite was a delightful journey for the taste buds. It’s clear that the kitchen takes pride in their culinary creations, and their efforts are to be recognized. The service complemented the food perfectly. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and professional, making me feel welcomed and valued. She was so kind and sweet. The atmoaphere was warm and inviting. Whether it’s the lighting, the decor, or the comfortable seating, every aspect of the environment contributes to a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. In conclusion, this was a memorable experience that combines exceptional food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. It’s a gem that stands out for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I eagerly look forward to my next visit.

We stopped at Rock Reef Cafe on recommendation from my brother who had eaten here in the past, so happy we did. The inside is inviting, very clean, nice decor with cute signage on the walls and comfortable tables and booths. It has a cafe feel, very laid back. The owner/Chef and his wife treated us to a super tasty meal. I wish I remembered her name. She was on top of things, very accommodating and sweet. My daughter ordered the Bison burger w/fries, she really enjoyed it. My granddaughter and husband ordered Alfredo, one with chicken, they both thought it was some of the best Alfredo they have had. I had classic hot wings w/blue cheese dressing, it was delicious. The dinner salad was crispy and fresh, it was a great mix of salad greens, carrots, cucumber and tomato. We ordered a pizza because we could not pass up the chance to have a great pizza. Everything was delicious. We will definitely eat here on our way through Torrey.

What a find! We stopped here for lunch and loved the looks of this restaurant. We settled on their thin crust veggie pizza with Dead Horse Amber Ales. Great choice! Loved it! We got the chocolate brownies to go. Yum! Our server, Juvia, was equally outstanding, attentive and friendly. A real Superstar! Very large room inside as well as outdoor seating. Highchairs for the young ones were a availble as well as an extensive children's menu. Although we didn't use it, there was a jukebox there, also. This now our "go to" place when we visit the national park nearby! Highly recommended!
