If I could give this 0 stars I would. I attempted to book my child's birthday party here. After going to the studio at the hours listed 2 times and them never being open I called to ask when I could go to see the facility, book the party and leave a deposit. The owner Barbara told me to email them so I did. I got a response email for a Kimberly:
Hi Lauren, Please give us a call to secure that date or you can do if stop by around 6:30 tomorrow night. Thanks
So Saturday at 6:30 we went, the studio was open but nobody was there. Figuring perhaps they ran out for coffee or something we waited. 20 minutes later I emailed Kimberly saying we're here and waiting to speak to someone. I also started calling their main # which is the cell of Barbara. After the 5th call and waiting for 30 minutes she finally picks up. I tell her we're here trying to book the party and her response with an attitude is, "My employee is stuck in traffic so you're going to have to just wait." Ok I tell her, but we've been waiting a half hour already, is she close? I just wanted to know if it was even worth continuing to wait with my children. Her response was a snide, "How should I know? I didn't even tell you to come! You could have just told me the date on the phone!" I tell her that a Kimberly invited me to come see the studio and book in person. She responds with, "Well I didn't tell you so you can just wait if that's what you want. You didn't need to come!" I asked her, why are you speaking to me this way? I'm a customer trying to give you business? Her response, "I DON'T NEED YOUR BUSINESS!"
I have NEVER in my life dealt with someone more RUDE or UNPROFESSIONAL! My child who was standing next to me and heard the whole exchange began to cry and told me they no longer wanted a birthday party. I'm beyond disgusted with how we were treated. I would NOT recommend this place and I certainly wouldn't trust this person who does not even know how to speak to adults with respect...
Read moreI put together a birthday paint afternoon with my friends in early October. I called up a few places and thought Artsea was very accommodating and professional. We had a private event since it was 11 of us. It's a family owned business and they were great. The studio is located in a quaint village in the town of Babylon. The owners let us BYOB and any other goodies, which was great. We were able to have beverages and snacks while we were painting. The art instructor was Kim and she was great. I picked a Hallowen theme picture for our group. Kim also played background music for us. We had a great time and I would definitely do this again! Thanks Artsea for...
Read moreI've both booked and attended multiple classes at Artsea over the years and their level of knowledge and professionalism never falters. Whether I'm looking for a fun night out with either my friends or family, this has become my go-to spot. Their instructors are always welcoming (and patient!)- they are eager to help out with any mistakes we make on our canvas and we never feel rushed. The studio itself is the perfect size and located right on Main Street Babylon with plenty of parking out back. All in all, I...
