I've been looking for a local ramen restaurant and I'm really glad I found this one.
Since it was my first time here I decided to get the Ninja Ramen bowl, seared pork belly, egg, wood ear mushrooms, kimchi, fish cake and marinated bamboo shoots with thin noodles.
I'm typically not a fan of thin noodles but they worked in this dish and there was a decent portion. So the most important part of any ramen dish in my opinion is the broth. If the broth sucks then the dish sucks. The bone broth was done really was and tasted great. I'm usually a tonkatsu broth guy (which they offer). It was flavored with black garlic oil which is amazing. The seared pork belly was another great component of the dish. Salty and fatty which every good ramen needs. They egg was perfect (wish they gave a whole egg instead of half) but that's just cause I love eggs.
It was a great dish that offered options when eating. Take a piece of fish cake with one bite. Then pork and mushroom, egg and noodle. They were all good.
Portion size is smaller than I've had for the same price range, but honestly I dont mind because the taste was on point.
I will definitely be coming back and I hope others try this place out and keep them in business. There aren't any good places like this locally that care about the flavor as opposed to just tacking on the word ramen to a bland dish. Keep up the great work...
Read moreAlthough the staff is very friendly and the food tasted good, I couldn’t enjoy it because of how filthy the place is. When you walk in you are hit with the smell of cigarettes. I overlooked the smell and ordered at the counter. Sat down to a sticky table. After closer looks I saw everything was filthy. The condiments on the table were gross and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There was a jar of sauce that anyone could put their fingers in. My mom tried the sauce despite my warnings. We couldn’t even continue our errands. I had to rush my mom home so she could use the toilet. An hour of explosive diarrhea. So they are nice, the food was tasty but eat at your own risk. They definitely need to learn how to clean and stop smoking in...

Overall the soup base and pork is good.. the ramen itself I can tell it's not the fresh kind you get in those crazy ramen spots in NYC. But this is Babylon.. you can't expect anything too crazy right?
I got the spicy miso and I'm used to thick brothy soup w little miso chunks and stuff in it. This is a clean broth. It doesn't taste bad it's just not the hardcore nyc ones.
Also got the karaage chicken which is good too but again not the hardcore NYC kind.
The person up front is very nice and I ate inside and told me to leave it when done.
Overall not too bad.. it's tasty, good pork belly.. try it out.. price isn't too...
