Ferraro's Liquor Store — Local services in Town of Babylon

I've been to roughly 15 liquor stores and wine "boutiques" locally and in Manhattan for the past few months in search of a wine that my wife and I fell in love with at a restaurant. I could not find this wine anywhere. Ferraro's did not have the wine either—BUT Bill is the first guy to offer to special order it for me (even though I have asked other liquor stores to do the same, but to no avail). I have never been a patron of his store in the past—let alone be a regular customer. I found Ferraro's using the google maps app. Bill has earned a patron for life, even though there are several liquor stores MUCH closer to me. Ferraro's has great service, a friendly yellow lab that hangs out in the store, a decent selection of wines and liquors, and most importantly—the small business heart that so many liquor stores have unfortunately seemed to have lost. Bill, and whom I presume to be his wife, seem to be very nice people—you should stop in and pick up a bottle or two of your favorite beverage. If your favorite beverage happens to be Brotherhood Dry Riesling (featured at Barrique Kitchen and Wine Bar in Babylon) Ferraro's should have it by next week—you better pick up a bottle before I take it all. But then again—It seems that Bill will be more than happy to special order a few more bottles for you after it...

I cannot stress enough how kind the owners of this store were to me today. I was shopping at the chocolate store right next door with my two year old daughter. When my daughter had to go to the bathroom, they would not let her use it, despite me spending $50 there. I ran next door in a panic and they let my daughter use the facilities with no issues. They even gave her a lollipop afterwards. I’m pregnant so there wasn’t a lot for me to purchase lol, but the store was clean and everything seemed well priced. In 6 months, I’ll for sure be enjoying my first glass of wine from this store and many more to...

The owner of the store consistently has great wine recommendations that are always spot on and I’m never disappointed with. Most recently he recommended the Pope’s wine with a very unique bottle for a gift (they loved!) and B Side Cabernet for its dryness and full flavor.
