Five Below — Local services in Town of Babylon

I usually love shopping at FiveBelow but today I had an experience that prompted this unfortunate review. I was shopping with my daughter for locker supplies & noticed about 5 minutes in that we were being closely followed by a man dressed in all black. At every turn this person was there obviously shadowing us. I understand that these people have a job to do, but I couldn’t help but notice that we were the only black customers there at the time & the only ones being monitored in this way. It was extremely uncomfortable & he even started to creep my daughter out a bit. So I went to the register with what we found from our shopping list so far then drove to the Levittown location to complete our purchases. came in this evening with my friend. we were in the makeup aisle just looking around. i grabbed a lip oil from MY bag and put it on. we proceeded to walk around. a brunette white woman came up to me and said “do you want to put the lip gloss back or?” i was very confused on what she was referring to. she said “the lip gloss you put on” looking at my bag. i told her it was my own. she gave a half ass apology as if she didn’t just accuse me of shoplifting. very degrading to be accused like that especially in front of other customers. i left after that because i don’t want to purchase something from a store where they...

Very nice and helpful employees. I came in 10 minutes to closing, a very kind gentlemen opened the door, "I'm just informing you that we close in 10 minutes so please make your purchase quickly". I had been to another store just before I stopped at Five Below and I guess they were having a slow day because they closed up early. I was not happy. Coming to Five Below usually makes me feel better, and their stock is getting very diverse. It isn't "dollar store quality". If you haven't checked it out yet, I don't know what...
